Title: exotic meats!

i have not yet gone but just found out about an exotc meat sore in my city, im thoroughly stoked...
here is the selection they boast of:

       *  Alligator
    * Antelope
    * Bison/Buffalo
    * Caribou/Reindeer
    * Crocodile
    * Elk
    * Frog
    * Kangaroo
    * Kobe Beef


    * Lamb
    * Llama
    * Rabbit
    * Rattlesnake
    * Snapping Turtle
    * Venison
    * Wild Boar
    * Yak

    * Duck
    * Goose
    * Guinea Fowl
    * Ostrich
    * Pheasant
    * Quail
    * Squab
    * Wild Turkey
i think im particularly interested in trying alligator, kangaroo and rattlesnake.

I heard of one of those near me in Philadelphia but never got around to ordering anything.

the only down side is its all farmed, they claim its all antibiotic and hormone free, fed non gmo stuff,etc. but i doubt the critters are getting their natural diet. not exactly optimal but hell, you've got to live a little and this week i think that'll mean alligator tail  ;D

I was thinking I might want to try cooking those meats before eating them raw, since they're so new to me. Maybe since they're so new though I wouldn't have a desire to cook them since I've never had them cooked.

Don't even bother buying the Kobe beef. Kobe beef is notorious for being grainfed but also the cattle involved are fed on alcohol and forced to stand in tiny cages(the idea is to build up the fat-layers to make the Kobe beef, so they try to discourage the animal from exercising as much as possible). As for the rest of them, they're unlikely to be fed on a natural diet, but there might be exceptions such as the frogs(it seems likely that they would be fed on insects and not on some unnstaural food-pellets - or perhaps I'm wrong on this.
