Title: Allergic Rhinitis
Post by: achillezzz on May 19, 2016, 06:09:44 am
I discovered i have this utter allergy symptoms from nearly everything morning wake up when i see sunshine when middle sleep when i eat when everytime..

Nausea , blocked nose , red bloated face , itchiness in nose , tears from eyes and it can last for hours and hours and sometimes the whole day this is some concrete jungle type of symptoms to deal with it interferes with my life.

The only thing that does helps now is a drug.  Avamys.

A corticosteroid based nasal spray.

Yes i am not a drug believer my self i cured my GERD after being on proton pump inhibitors for 2 years with just one miserable supplement as magnesium.

But those symptoms are killing me i can talk to a person face to face and then out of no where bam my face bloat i have nausea nose gets red i start having tears and its just fucked up.

Those are not nasal polyps this is allergic rhinitis and polyps actually grow in people who have allergic rhinitis and leave it untreated.

Day 2 on avamys and I am nearly symptom free but its just a.temporary fix to realize cause / effects

Please help  i dont feel vibrant being depended on a drug.

Fermented foods and high meat sometimes help. Low-carb often helps. Vitamin D definitely helps. What does your daily diet look like?

Are there any environmental triggers?

Mold, Mildew, Pollen, Dust, Animal Dander, Building Materials, Chemical fumes, etc.....?

Are there any possible food triggers?

Dairy, Eggs, Seeds, Nuts, Grains, Nightshades, etc....?

Have you tried moving to a different / new house?

It may be a sick house.

Or maybe the environment you are living in like pollen and other allergen.

No food makes any difference.

Have this allergy thing since childhood only to recently realize it's not normal and talked to a doc about this.

It's also has little difference as far as environment is concerned I was 7months in prison and still had those symptoms killing me.

My whole nose and face just bloat with water retention and bam sneezing itchiness in nose and blocked nose I hate this shit also tears from eyes... it also fucks with my sleep due nausea doctor just told me it's a "gift for all your life " like I will have to use this spray avamys for the rest of my life... but same shit told me the docs in regards to my GERD that I will be on anti acids for the resr of my life lol then cured with magnesium so fuck docs

I use this avamys as symptom care for now until figure cause effect I don't even know where to start just googling searching everythibg same shit I did when has gerd

I had allergies from childhood, including nasal allergies and skin rashes. I experienced improvement when I made some changes like cutting out milk and wheat. When I was in my late 30s, I did a 10-day fast with colon-cleansing supplements plus hydrocolonics, a la Dr. Herbert Shelton. From that point on, my nasal allergies were a thing of the past. I still had other symptoms of inflammation, which I have learned to eliminate with RPD and heart-rate variability testing for food and environmental allergies. I learned how to use HRV testing with an elimination diet from various online sources, including Dave Asprey at bulletproofexec.com (http://bulletproofexec.com).

I have found it helpful to think of inflammation as an important diagnostic signal. I can feel inflammation immediately as a pain in my hip or shoulder, both of which are arthritic. If I can't feel any pain in those areas, then I'm not inflamed. If I eat an inflaming food, significant pain occurs in less than 5 minutes. See of you can isolate a signal, like sudden nasal discharge, nausea, or airway constriction, then use it in conjunction with an elimination diet. It might be good to establish a baseline through water fasting for three or more days - if you are improved after a few days fast, test one single food that you typically eat many days per week.

In case the irritant is airborne, like molds, you can look around for dampness. I run a dehumidifier in my house all winter, our rainy season, because mold grows on the chilly dampness on the walls in the winter. If everything "looks" alright in your environment, you can buy a mold test kit or have some one test your house.

Don't forget to rule out cleaning products and grooming aids. There was a man at work who had the wickedest migraines every day for years until he stopped using hair gel.

I'm sure you'll try anything until you find what works. I have done that, and I'm pleased with the results so far. Most of my experiments were a waste of time and money, but the ones that have worked give me courage to face old age because I am getting better and healthier when most of the people my age are getting sicker. So, don't get discouraged by how hard it is to find solutions.

Do what Eve said.  She's awesome.

As far as prison is concerned, probably not the optimal environment.  Probably bad food as well.

I know people who went off grid out to the mountains and beaches with zero electricity and pure clean air and pristine food and water from those parts.  You may want to go on a vacation like that.

I have trouble with Rhinitis and was prescribed Beconase aqueous nasal spray many years ago and have found this a great help when nose is congested or runny (faster than an Olympic athlete).   An alternative is Sterimar congestion relief (made out of the cleanest sea water from the French coast of Brittany) which is rather strong, but effective.    The symptoms decrease with frequency of treatment so it might help you.

Some Regional areas are worse than others in regards to triggering allergies. I was born into an area which is one of the allergy capitals of the world....though its hard to tell what percentage of people are faking and are just buying allergy medicine to make meth with....

The Kentucky river valley is known for its high mold and pollen counts....rag weed, ornamental trees, shrubs, moist basements, poor diets based on non local foodstuffs, and a myriad of other factors contribute to the allergy epidemic in my part of the world.

My indigenous ancestors who grew up in the hollows, never had any issues with allergies....but my father who grew up in the city was very prone to hay fever.... my mother was from the Bad Lands of South Dakota and had no issues, until as a child she moved to Kentucky, where her and my uncle almost died of Histoplasmosis during their first summer. I believe that many people who migrate here lack the protective antibodies to our high mold, mildew and fungal counts, and on top of this many people were never nursed or very well nourished growing up so they have a weak and easily overwhelmed immune system to start with.

It takes time to adapt to changes in the environment, especially to ecosystems that are far different from those from which you originated....these problems are compounded by the modern cesspool of industrial city life...For those afflicted with such chronic allergic reactions, though it may not be economically convenient for many, I would suggest to vacate the environment, and go to a clean coastal region for a while...... practice intermittent fasting, sun bathing, meditation, swimming and eliminate any possible problem foods, such as dairy and grains....after a few weeks there should be a great improvement.

Good points, Saber, although the traditional cure was the desert, not the coast.

I go once or twice a year to the Italian Riviera near the French border. I always find myself having a runny nose for the first 2 weeks, a certain indication of detox. While I am these days even stricter about eating my rawpalaeodiet than more recent years, I have to accept the fact that I mostly live in a city with some air-pollution, so I need to be in the country or on the coast to live in an ideal fashion. GS's notion of living electricity-free etc. is an idea.
