The optimal healing diet would depend heavily upon the individual circumstances?

Generally speaking conditions like chronic vertigo, are often symptoms of some form of degeneration or long term deficiency. In either case a holistic approach which includes a balanced of a variety of Raw Paleo foods would be beneficial.

For rejuvenation and regeneration of nerves and damaged tissues which often are an issue in chronic vertigo, Low Carb may be something to look into?....A
s for what particular foods to consume would be a subject up for debate. Often deficiencies in the B vitamins are a cause, so regular animal foods that include all the glands and organs would be the first choice.

Generally I recommend a diet with quality whole raw animals a main staple..if the patient isn't ready to start drinking blood or eating guts and bone marrow of land mammals right away, then ocean derived foods like raw fish are also an option.

According to online sources, while there are various different causes of vertigo, most seem to be based, ultimately, on inflammation. Raw, palaeolithic foods are THE best foods for reducing inflammation. They do need to be of high-quality, though, not just raw. So, grassfed or wild meats or raw wildcaught seafood or raw organic plants are what to aim for.

Here is some info, read the 1st posts of the various links:-

Basically, most inflammation in the human body is caused by toxins derived from cooking/heating foods. Such toxins include advanced glycation end products(heavily implicated in diseases involved in inflammation and aging, nitrosamines, heterocyclic amines and  polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(both the latter also form part of car-exhaust fumes and cigarette-smoke).

I would suggest experimenting with different percentages of raw animal foods to raw plant foods, as well as choosing as wide a variety within those 2 groups as possible. Everybody is different, and some will thrive really well on raw wildcaught shellfish, for example, yet suffer after eating any raw tropical fruit or vice-versa, and so on..
