I've an unwanted juicer purchased this March. Its a centrifugal juice extractor, which is considered inferior to the slow masticating juicer as far as nutrient retention and degradation rate is concerned. Masticating juicers are incredibly expensive though. For somebody who just juiced celery it did the job.
If it interests you, my juicer is a Lloytron 600W Extractor, bought it for about £50 brand new. Have a look at them, though plenty of others are on the market.

I'm happy to give mine away, but based in Manchester. I cant afford to ship such a bomb shell via courier

I wonder and feel that the differences between the cheap and the expensive juicers are negligible. I have two types of juicers that I don't use anymore by the way. Bought a used champion on ebay for 75 dollars, which is more like a masticating juicer than a centrifugal one and a Hamilton Beach Big Mouth juicer that I got reconditioned for 25 dollars including shipping from Amazon. Walmart sells the Bigmouth for a little over twice that if you want to buy it new. I highly recommend either but rarely juice anymore as I didn't feel good doing it as I eat plenty of vegetables already...

My advise is to buy a bigmouth. I think you will be happy with it.  Just drink the juice right away and don't store it. Later on if you want to invest a fortune go buy a really expensive one for 500 to 1000 dollars. I think you'll be disappointed with it and find that not only does it take longer and a lot more work to clean but that there isn't all that much difference in the quality of juice it produces. No matter how good the juicer is, it's not going to be as good as the juice produced from a good set of teeth, which you hopefully still have. And I feel the fiber is just as important as the juice.  I also don't think there are any health benefits for a person on a healthy diet in eating more vegetables then they naturally want to. Though if all you eat is french fries, pop tarts and Coca Cola you would probably benifiet greatly...
