I agree that the DVD is quite expensive. It has a lot of really good background information on how and why the diet works and why bacteria, viruses and parasites are your friends. However, it is NOT a DVD that teaches you how to prepare food or how to follow the diet exactly. This has been laid out mostly in his 2nd book and he does not repeat it here. Jill Fox's raw food video is much better for this.
I'd recommend the AV DVDs for people new or sceptical of the primal diet and of course for fans of AV. If you're already doing fine with your raw paleo diet you won't necessarily need this DVD.
I'll post more about the DVDs after watching them a 2nd time.

Cheers,
Westley

Here is a review:
I never read the book.  The reason I ended up watching the PD Workshop DVD set was to pull some still photos for a client.  I am an I.T. guy.  I was completely fascinated.  Aajonus completely paralleled things I already thought - about bacteria-mania and about the fact that most doctors do not know what they are doing.

Then I insisted that my wife watch it while I saw it again.  I noted her reaction – I watched it slowly dawn on her.  So we started by eating raw meat.  I noticed that on the very next day I felt stronger and my body had more energy.

We completely dropped ALL supplements, with no ill effects; we never even noticed the difference.  I realized you don't need complex enzymes unless you have to break down all this cooked stuff.  I'm satisfied all the time.  I need about ½ as much food as I was eating.  It just keeps getting better.”
