Title: Unchewable meats
Post by: agarwaen on September 17, 2020, 12:28:39 am
I have basically just started the raw paleo, and got my hands on some local farm beef. Unfortunately, one of the parts i got is simply unchewable; I cannot even bite through to put a smaller piece into my mouth. Should I just avoid these animal parts in general? I mean, if my teeth aren't designed to consume it, it doesn't make sense to me that I should then cut it up with a knife into bite sized pieces, but rather find the meats that I could naturaly consume without any tools. Can I get any thoughts about this?

A mincer might help!   I bought a massive hand powered 'Porkert' meat mincer made in Czech Republic, which will never wear out, originally for tough pork meat and it works wonderfully.    You can buy electric mincers but hand operated ones also build up arm muscles in the process.    Always strip it and clean parts thoroughly after use!
