Title: Wai and Spirituality
Post by: RawZi on February 01, 2010, 07:17:22 am
This young man says Wai diet has helped him with his spirituality:

In this video, he talks about the diet also.  One thing is, he tells why Wai usually recommends against land meat.  I haven't watched it all yet, but I hope you enjoy :)

Does this guy eat only fruits as fruitarian because I think this guy is full of copper!

He eats fruit and the inside of egg-yolks as his main food.  He also drinks olive oil.  He eats a little raw fish and even less raw terrestrial meat (because he says it's hard to find clean), but yes, I think the bulk is fruit and considers himself a type of fruitarian.  Maybe copper suits him as more of his body's proteins are based on copper.  Or maybe his own pigments are why he does poorly with vegetables.  Or maybe he's protein deficient and that why his hair isn't darker.

I did the wai diet a couples of years ago for about 8 mounts and I had to stop cause I was loosing my hair and was not feeling good on this diet. I started this diet for my acne and it just made my acne 10 times worse it was a real nightmare. Its to high in fruits and way to much olive oil .... its crazy!

Wai Diet can be a high fat diet, and olive oil is not mandatory, you can use coconut oil or animal fat.

I think a lot of what determines one's success on the Wai diet, and I also tried it, is one's insulin sensitivity at that time.  With high sensitivity hormonal responses will throw the balance of the body out of whack eventually, from eating mostly carbs/fruits/sugar.

Eating a bit of food at a time, especially with fat, does not elevate excessively insulin. That's the idea of the Wai diet if I understand it correctly.
