Title: Other forums?
Post by: TylerDurden on February 03, 2010, 04:04:36 am
I've noticed that rawpaleoforum is the 2nd biggest paleolithic-diet related forum re membership(cavemanforum has twice our membership numbers and livefood yahoo group doesn't count as it's more or less dud now). I was wondering how we compared to raw vegan forums in size. It's just to get a rough idea how many more raw vegans there are than rawpalaeos.

That's not a perfect measurement tool, because raw vegans tend to withdraw from society more.  They tend to have a lot more social anxiety and fear in general.  I didn't post on the internet at all for over a year during my 80/10/10 days.  As soon as I started eating more fat and animal products, I stopped having anxiety attacks, and started socializing, dating, and posting on the internet again.

However, it still might be interesting to see those numbers.  I checked over at rawfoods dot com, one of the biggest and oldest raw vegan boards, but I don't know how to find out a member count.

We can simply assume there are more vegans because this diet is promoted far better that the paleo.
