Title: Get it off your chest -Things/People You hate
Post by: TylerDurden on March 09, 2010, 01:55:58 am
OK, here is a new thread.-

I hate helmeted psycho skiers because they cannot properly see where they are going nor can hear as well as others and are more likely to end up causing accidents as a result.

I also hate French computer keyboards as it feels like I`m trying to type on some  bug-eyed alien`s keyboard instead. So far, typing posts seems to take 3 to 4 times as long as a result and I keep on mistakenly  pressing the blasted "q"  button instead of "a".

lol try a Dvorak keyboard and you'll be typing just as slow if you're used to the qwerty.

When I'm out of energy and depressed I hate lots of people. I can have these intense moments where I will mentally envision a string of negative thoughts about someone and so passionately hate them and want to destroy them and I am stuck in my mind convinced that this person or group of people should be ended. I've gotten in these modes on this forum as well as on other forums. I will get severely attached to these ideas about how much I truly hate these people and can't get over how awful they are and how wrong they are. This will end abruptly and I will rush back to reality if someone is I see is nice to me or even just gives me their attention.  I forget to assign a soul to these people as I am mentally battling them. I rarely actually respond in this manner but I do have these vicious thoughts.

When I have energy and am connecting with society, I rarely get angry and accept people for who they are and move on.

Nicely said. As I get older, I notice that the distance between the bad thought and the pleasant thoughts starts reducing and then at some point you will witness yourself thinking the bad thoughts realizing that you are doing it.

That is a cool state of mind. Like you are somebody else watching yourself as somebody else........

I don't like this idea that we can get toxins really fast and store it in our bodies for years and years...

We should evolve to get those out quicker.

Ayurveda shows you how to quickly and comfortably do that. Been written down for 2000 years and practiced for thousands of years before that.

focus on the positive things in life. Ignore the negative.

Positive thinking is good, but not expressing a full range of emotion can be problematic, especially for 'the secret' types who will try to alter their authentic feeling superficially, and just build more negativity.

I personally am bothered that as soon as it gets nice out, people will habitually blast loud reggaeton music in multiple locations which infringes on my enjoyment of outdoor activities or rest. loud birds (particularly mocking birds that imitate car alarms) also are irritating. The combination is worse.

I have this thing against the very word "h"

It's too powerful a word to broadcast or even think about.

Plus I believe it causes more damage to the bearer of "h" as it radiates in the entire persona.

Infinite love is a better thing to talk about.

Well, I would disagree. As the author Lester Del Rey pointed out, many wonderful things in the human race's history  have come about due more to the negative emotions than the positive ones, either directly or indirectly. The Renaissance in Italy being a classic example thereof. A truly balanced persona needs to include all aspects of human behaviour.

That sounds scary...

I agree with that part of your sentiment, ForTheHunt and I'm encouraged that you feel that way. I think we have a bit too much talk of hate and negativity and not quite enough GoodSamaritan-type happiness and positiveness in this forum lately. I'm not encouraging Panglossian naivete, but rather a skeptical and empirical approach that recognizes the negative aspects of life and deals with them, but focuses more on being positive and constructive in handling both the bad and the good, and which includes some good 'ol fashioned fun.
