Title: Primal diet books?
Post by: Sitting Coyote on June 29, 2010, 11:30:28 pm
I live in the USA and would like to buy Aajonus' two books, but don't want to pay full price.  Anyone willing to sell their copies?  Or, dare I say this, anyone have the PDF versions who are willing to pass them along?  PM me and we can figure things out.

These books are life changing matters. Here they are for easy purchase.
We Want to Live and Recipe for Living Without Disease

Plus the Primal Diet DVD

There.  That should be easy enough for people to purchase these legally.

I just bought the books new from hilarion.com - a great and very user-friendly website:

http://www.king-cart.com/cgi-bin/cart.cgi?store=hilcat&product=Books+by+Many+Authors&cart_id=19283.56115&user-id=&exchange=&exact_match=exact

(or go to http://www.king-cart.com/cgi-bin/cart.cgi?store=hilcat and click on "Books by Many Authors")

I actually ordered them yesterday online around 11 am and I already got them TODAY!!!!! I opened the box around 6 pm, but they arrived even earlier than that! The shipping I paid for was 2 - 3 day priority, but I'm so excited that I have them the very next day.

The books are perfect and the service was speedy and awesome. I recommend ordering them from hilarion.com - I found the ordering process easier and more user-friendly compared to when I tried to order the books from wewant2live.com. I also appreciated the button you can click for detailed info, such as the books' table of contents. Yaaay!

Just ordered both books from www.wewant2live.com.  Nice that they have a PayPal option.  Looking forward to reading them!

Just finished reading We Want To Live.  I'm torn as to what I think of it.  Certainly some useful information, but also lots of claims that he leaves completely unsubstantiated.  It also seems to me that his digestive ailments would necessitate a special diet for him that wouldn't be necessary or perhaps even optimal for someone with a normally functioning digestive system.

Started reading The Recipe For Living Without Disease this afternoon.

GS, it's  a really bad idea to advertise amazon as a link for Aajonus' books as many people(myself included) have complained constantly that it takes at least 6 weeks or more to get them from that site. I got AV's 2nd book from Hilarion.com, and it came much faster as a result.

I've read both books now.  Not all that impressed...  I'm sure raw dairy works well for him (or maybe it doesn't, he just manages to convince himself it does?) but it certainly doesn't work with me.

I can't recommend either of these books.

That's my experience also. I also bought the DVD set which was awesome. Tad expensive but fascinating. I have to thank him for a life changing diet. I wasn't sick previously nor did I have any chronic issues or even short term issues such as colds or sore throats because I look after myself using Ayurvedic principles. I now seem to be getting stronger and more solid although I have not gained weight. I am 155 to 165 lbs @ 5'10.5" so I do not have flab whatsoever. I bike a lot. Skin bumps and discolorations are slowly disappearing. Hair seems to be reappearing.

Hello; Aajonus' books are a little cheaper if you get them on Amazon.  Or just buy one & read it then when you have some $ for the next one, get it.

Hi! I'm new here.
I would like to purchase these books by Aajonus, but the price is too high (especially for a student).
So if there's somebody else there who wants the books, maybe we could get together and purchase the PDF, split the price?
Sorry for my english!

Hey, I just tried to message you again, but it wouldn't let me send it because it says that your inbox is full.  -\

Anyway, here's what I wrote:

Quote
Yes, both books cost exactly $30 (each) ...which makes a perfect 50/50 split between the two of us.  :)

I know you had said that you would buy the "recipe book", but I kind of want to start reading and using that one ASAP (the other one I don't mind waiting a little while for), so if you want I can go ahead and purchase the "recipe book" right now (and make a copy for you) and then you could buy the "We Want To Live" book whenever you're ready. Is that okay with you?

You might also go to your local library and request that they purchase the books. Sometimes they will, and then you don't have to spend even one penny!

Amanda,
That's strange, I only have 1 message in my inbox. I'm not good with these forums.)

Yes, okay, let's do that!)

Eric, I highly doubt that they would, as I live in Estonia. )

Fair enough. Your English is better than most people for whom it is a first language, so I assumed you lived in the US, UK or Australia. My bad!

Yeah, I get the feeling that we're only allowed to have ONE message occupying our inbox at any given time on this forum...
which is incredibly strange, but I digress...   ???

Just make sure that you delete messages after you've read them, and also delete the sent messages from your outbox.  :)

Anyone (1 or more) willing to make a split purchase of the PDF "The Recipe for Living Without Disease" with me ?

I am currently reading his first book (ordered from Amazon second hand), so I could wait a week or two for collecting people that are interested...

This thread has been quiet for some time.

I've read AV's two books, WW2live and the recipe one.  I found both awesome and learned things in both, made changes to my diet with great results.

I especially liked his theories on how the body works and how bacteria, viruses and mold were beneficial and all of the other stuff that challenged the standard medical science of today, which I don't buy into.

I'm going to get his workshop videos next and the video on how he prepares food.

Basically I want to hear everything he has to say.

Are there any other authors out there that are worth reading along the same lines?

Thanks

Guy Claude Burger. He is more in tune with Nature than Aajonus. Like Aajonus, he has tales of laboratories burning down with all of his papers, but he is more in line with  rawpalaeodieters. Only catch is that he blames raw meats for his wife's cancer. Sweet fruits are not the answer!

Hi I'm Ida I had the same problem with the kilograms of any tablet I did not help just change the diet. On the Internet I have found a book where I smelled for 6 months about 30 kg is not a book so expensive this link where I bought it and it really is You have a great help to see and decide for yourself.

https://jvz6.com/c/1248401/323637

Also after losing 30 pounds I went to this view I did not get the kilo back

I hope that it will not be for you to advertise products maybe there are better ones but it helped me.
