Title: "Egg yolk is bad nutritional value"

This video was on the front page of youtube

I've never seen so much ignorance from a non-vegan. He's just one example of why i never ever discuss nutrition with people, there are so many misconceptions that are accepted as facts/common knowledge, it's a lost cause to discuss things like eating large amount of raw meat, 9 out of 10 people look at you like you're from another planet.

I have learned my lesson discussing nutrition with other non raw paleo style eaters. When somebody has an opinion regarding nutrition I just nod and smile and keep my mouth shut  -X

Oh, I know what you mean... that video was kind of funny. I prefer this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZD-QYPcyNA

I don't feel a need to get into debates about nutrition with people and haven't mentioned going raw paleo to family members (that would only impede my progress), but I still think it's worth expressing ourselves. :) I've told three people, relative strangers, about going raw paleo (on two separate occasions) and all three were intrigued. When I expressed doubts about my success, one was encouraging. He knew of another woman doing it and he said "it can be done." At least we can enjoy the 1 out of 10th person who doesn't look at us like we're from another planet. ;D

I couldn't take the video seriously, but the one thing that bothered me was his ok-ing purchasing and consuming regular, nonorganic eggs because they're not as expensive as organic eggs. I prefer not to eat the sad eggs of nonorganic chickens. I vote with my dollars/purchases and I vote for less sad and miserable animals. In addition, I believe the miserable, negative energy of their existences carries into their food products (eggs, flesh, organs, milk, etc.). I decided long ago that I could afford organic eggs and would buy them when I could afford them and not buy any eggs at all when I couldn't afford organic. I don't think the eggs at my farmers market are expensive; they're totally worth it. :D
