Title: Muscular Sclerosis
Post by: raw-al on September 01, 2010, 07:20:54 am
Anyone have any comments or experience regarding MS and  RPD?

I have a close friend, a relative and an enemy ;) that have this issue.

I think non-inflammatory foods help. All rpd foods are non-inflammatory. Some of the fruits like the nightshade family are considered inflammatory and in the case of MS or rheumatoid arthritis or fibromyalgia should not be consumed. You could make the argument that the nightshade family as it exists today is not paleo, nor is most fruit found in stores. I would think an rpd diet would do a lot in treating MS, a whole lot more than what doctors seem to be able to do.

I think so. Cooked palaeolithic diets have been shown to be useful re relieving some symptoms of MS. A raw diet would help the aut-immune aspect through heavy intake of bacteria, I reckon(via "high-meat")
