Title: Treatment for sexually transmitted infections - antibiotics or paleo?
Post by: Techydude on March 18, 2011, 03:10:53 pm
If I were to come down with an STI should I take antibiotics or let it go away naturally on a paleo diet.

Preventing STIs is always easier than curing them.  There are many strains of STI pathogens that are immune to antibiotics.  I don't know that RPD is going to help with your infection, and I've never heard of an STI just going away.

It is better to let it go with the natural thing .
As it will not have any kind of side effects if you stick with natural .

and how do you know?  from personal experience?

i've known number of people who got bacterial infections like chlamydia and gonorrhea.  all of them ran to docs and begged for antibiotics.

herpes is a virus, so there is no cure other than strong immune system. antibiotics are useless in this case.

Isn't this kind of where the rubber meets the road? I've been wondering about that for a while too, but don't you think if we are to have a consistent position we shouldn't be getting sti's, I mean, no more than other maladies.

This also has me wondering about our role as carriers.

Say one of us paleo's was to have sex with, or even just kiss (on a regular basis) a SADdie. Is this risky behaviour for the SAD person because we are constantly exposed to microbes and things which might be harmful or even fatal to a SADdie (ie, lymes disease, etc), but don't really bother us? Methinks yes, but I'd really like to hear what ya'lls think. Not that I would really want to date a SADdie, that way of life is so toxic in all respects that I feel it would be letting it too close to date someone like that....plus they smell like chemicals, icky!

If its curable through antibiotics I would use them. If it was incurable then I would stick with just raw paleo and maybe try to find other ways of helping it through herbs or IF.

I wonder too.  Example- Could for instance could salmonella give me a cold, and if I kissed a SADie could I carry it and it present as food poisoning in them?  I mean, would it affect different parts of the two people depending on SAD and raw paleo diet?

This also has me wondering about our role as carriers.

Raw Paleo Diet trumps antibiotics.
Add detox protocols in www.curemanual.com

I remain skeptical of the whole cootie issue.
When a doctor says to someone, "you have herpes/hiv/whatever. FOR EV VER."..... Riiight, not listening to your helpless ass
You sound like you are going to be making a lot of money off of me, if I take your group's claim seriously.

I asked a question in sixth grade "developmental" class that has yet to be answered in support of their cootie theory.
Who had the first herpe?
If it is only transferred and not developed then where did it come from?
If it is developed then, well, I am pretty sure I can think of something that would lead to lip detox.
psst, most people hold lab chemicals in their mouth and then swallow them, they call it "eating" here.
They told me "that is a good question... NEXT."

It sounds like a great way to get people to fear touching each other. Which benefits the people herders.
Also brings in a ton of money, as I mentioned.

I do know plenty of people who have had "fire in their pee pee hole" but all of them eat junk.
So the question "is this occurring naturally?" goes out the window because IMO they were doomed from the start.
All of the wonderful bacteria within the baby pooper could have simply initiated a detox. Thinking Instincto or NH.

For me, I just see no reason to buy into it, at all.
There are plenty of other reasons to be careful about who you play with.

Yes that makes me think:

Did our paleo ancestors get STDs/STIs and if they didn't how?

Who would they get the STD from?

I can not think of one recorded incident of indigenous cultures having andy STD.
AIDS was discovered in Africa well after we began giving them "help". In the form of bunk food and vaccines.

They speak of something that supposedly has no beginning or end.

Just because the eczema appears on the genitals doesn't mean it's an std.

Just because the lice clamber on the pubic hair doesn't mean its specific to pubic hair, lice can also stick to head hair.

Go see a doctor. Find out exactly what it is and how to deal with it. If it is an STD you have an obligation to do so. Especially where HSV is involved since it can be very persistent.

Also. Chose sexual partners and public toilets with more care. ;D
