Grete Waitz, a famous marathon runner, died of cancer at age 57:

Her diet was the usual one for endurance athletes, high carb, low fat, very little red meat.

BTW: Aajonus believes that cancer can be caused by long-term protein deficiency.

The idea being that there is a correlation between high carb & cancer?

Betcha he went with the regular chemo radiation surgery route...
