Title: recent Multiregional hypothesis data

Another sign that the multiregional hypothesis is correct:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denisova_hominin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denisova_hominin)

The article shows that there was another ancient hominid  which some modern humans(in this case, melanesians) share their DNA with(4-6 percent). So, it's no longer just a question of most of us having just neanderthal dna, and I am certain more such species will be shown to share dna with modern humans. I always thought that the traditional notion of neanderthals etc. being merely dumb "apemen" sounded dodgy, given the evidence available.
