For those unfamiliar with Barry Groves, he's an advocate of animal-foods, albeit cooked. I have to admit I felt like gagging at all that mention of cooked-lard in the above article - yuck! -v -v

cooked beef fat is intolerable too. Raw beef fat I can eat a lot, but cooked beef fat, my instincts says stop. Maybe the body realizes cooked fat may be toxic?

Depends on the source of fat. Traditional pemmican was made from the rendered fat of wild animals, so it would have had the essential omega 3 EFAs. I can't get that, so must balance the fat in pemmican with fish oil.
The raw beef fat that I can get smells of DPW and does not taste good to me, so it's obviously not from grassfed organic source. Too bad, but that's all there is.

Dried Poultry Waste. Farmers call it chicken shit. It is supposed to contain protein, so is mixed with ground corn cobs etc. and fed to feedlot cattle.
