I often correct the grammar and spelling of posts that I agree with, and leave the errors in posts that I disagree with. ROFL

ROFLYes, I have often been compelled to do exactly that, especially if there are just too many spelling-errors committed that day for me to waste time with. ;) It`s those whose posts I generally agree with who I am more annoyed with as they are articulate enough to know better.
IMO it only looks/sounds ugly because we are judging it.Actually non-members view bad spelling and poor use of language as a sign of poor education and low intelligence, even if the cause might just be carelessness. I and other non-rawpalaeos have come across many other websites with bad English in them and there is a definite impression of moronic behaviour caused by the bad spelling etc.
