Bear in mind that the japanese eat a lot of raw fish and are known to prefer consuming their fish raw rather than cooked, when possible. This sort of study does confirm that rawpalaeodieters will live longer than any cooked foodist.

these types of studies, may have valid information, but seem to never take into consideration the whole picture.  As in, ok, they may eat more fish, but what else aren't they eating?  Probably all the junk carbs that 'we' eat that turn into triglycerides and coat our arteries...  Same as when someone begins a new supplement program,, what else are they doing, i.e., exercise, eliminating more sugar in their diet, initiating intentions of wanting to get better, going to bed earlier.
