Title: Treating Food as an Investment
Post by: Projectile Vomit on June 09, 2014, 09:00:22 pm
Just wrote a blog post on Treating Food as an Investment (http://www.howericlives.com/treating-food-as-an-investment/). I figure given recent threads on the rising cost of meat, folks might be interested in giving it a read and engaging in a discussion on it. It's short, about 850 words.

Majority of people totally don't care about it and they don't want to be bothered with it.  Convenience factor trumps everything else.  When people get sick, convenience factor rules again, and they reach out to pills.

Then there is small number of those who shop at WholeFoods and similar.  They are willing to pay more for what they think is better quality food and have convenience factor at the same time.

And then there is just a handful of people who don't care about convenience factor at all and spend time figuring out where to get the best possible food for lowest price possible.
