Yeah, we generally choose one fruit sort for our first meal, around 12 o’clock. It can be followed by another fruit kind and perhaps a third one. Then for dinner we choose an animal food (eggs or shellfish / fish or a meat) or something fatty like avocados, or coconut or safus or even sometimes durian. After that animal or fatty food, we choose one vegetable, then perhaps another veggie, then maybe a third one depending on our appetite and amount eaten of the previous foods. Note that we regard non-sweet fruits like tomatoes, red and yellow pepper, tamarillos and cucumbers as vegetables. If still hungry after that, one kind of nuts can be chosen. And if we are still not satisfied with our meal, we have a fruit after a while, perhaps honey or dates latter. On the opposite, one or more of these steps can be avoided if nothing in it is tempting.

This is only a rough guideline for people living a conventional life. Nothing forbids to eat an animal food and/or vegetables or nuts for lunch. If we are in the wild, which would be a more ideal situation, such a meals’ plan can be disregarded.  ;)

Do you follow any good combining rules?

No strict rule, it depends how I feel. But it's better to eat a minimum number of different foods per meal.
