Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / How should fresh pig blood taste like?
« on: October 01, 2020, 11:28:17 pm »I just got blood today from my bio butcher. It was delivered in small refrigerated plastic lunch boxes and has a very bright red color and is completely fluid. When drinking it had a very intense sweet taste as if I would have licked a pig followed by a strong after taste of iron. It was the first time trying it and the taste was kind of repelling to me.
Is that normal? Do you have similar experiences to mine or did I get a bad batch of blood? What should it preferably taste like?
