Off Topic / Thoughts on guidelines for posting and starting threads.
« on: April 16, 2014, 05:27:51 am »
Feel free to correct me at any point if you disagree with my opinions as I would like to learn more about others perceptions on this topic.

My thoughts are this.

A user starts a thread with a question or a topic. Many experienced members are now allowed and invited to comment and share their opinion on the topic and/or answer the question specifically. I feel that members should basically and usually be talking to the OP and not to other peoples answers. This leaves the OP to make his own decision based upon the evidence given from each individual response. If another member has a problem with someones answer or just would like to debate their answer further then potentially another thread could be started.

Now this sounds good in theory but how would it play out in practice?

Maybe this would contribute to too many topics started and a scattering of information although I am guessing that the opposite would the case.  Threads would now only contain direct information about the topic and be free from distractions. I have experience many many times an interesting thread full of good information as well as many unnecessary squabbles that in reality make the truth harder to find.

I do not think this have to be some sort of rule that people need to follow. I am just sharing my experience and opinion on this matter and anyone is free to interpret it how they wish.

Really the main reason for my post is to express my belief system at this current moment in time so that I may either change them later when I come across new information or maybe this might reinforce my perception and I can now strive for impeccability in all that I post.

General Discussion / Eating insects.
« on: November 17, 2013, 12:16:58 am »
My new quest is to consume more bugs and insects. As long as I feel its nutritious for me I believe I am going to try it.

Not sure if this was already posted, but has anyone else seen this website? It has some very interesting information that I have only scratched the surface of...

General Discussion / Guy eats 5 pounds of raw meat in one sitting.
« on: November 05, 2013, 12:36:11 pm »
I was pretty impressed seeing someone down almost 5 pounds of raw meat in one sitting so I thought I would share. In another video he consumes 3 lbs meat and 24 raw eggs.

General Discussion / The Taste of Bone Marrow.
« on: October 14, 2013, 10:01:07 pm »
So I find myself instinctually craving bone marrow and I pretty much eat it every day. It also digests the best of any other raw fat I consume. Only about one out of every five bones I eat the marrow out of actually tastes good though. Most of the time its this dry gritty taste with spots of blood that make it taste horrible to me and I have to cover my nose. Then once in a while I get that perfect bone with very fatty and greasy marrow that tastes sweet and delicious. I feel like I could eat buckets of that stuff.

My question is that even though most marrow tastes bad does that actually mean I should not consume it even though I instinctually crave it?

General Discussion / Super Green Grass Fed Animal Meat.
« on: July 10, 2013, 12:02:15 pm »
Has anyone had any experience with cows or bison or any other animals that were fed super foods like the ones vegans recommend? For instance grass-fed cattle also fed sprirulina, chlorella, and blue green algaes. It sounds like a good idea in my head. I just wanted to get it out there and see if anyone else has thought the same thing or had any insight.

Health / Kidney Stones
« on: June 20, 2013, 01:11:15 am »
I have recently developed some large kidney stones. I passed a stone 3 years ago before I was into eating healthy and now I have been raw paleo for the past year and have developed even larger stones. I have limited my raw meat consumption to 4 ounces or less and that seemed to help although left me very hungry. Then when I had 4 ounces lamb with 4 ounces lamb fat for breakfast yesterday I had the worst pain ever. I gently threw up my meal about 10 minutes later and laid hunched over in excruciating pain for about 45 minutes until it completely subsided and left my insides feeling a little tender. It seems even a little bit of raw animal food is making it worse although now I have no idea how to eat. Does anyone have any advice?

I am taking chanca piedra tea now per advice from a friend. I am drinking plenty of water. I had to resort to eating some cooked rice because I had no idea what else to eat. Most fruits aggravate stones and all animal foods do as well. I can't stand most plant foods and most of them are not good for kidney stones as well.

General Discussion / Healing Reactions
« on: January 27, 2013, 11:46:57 am »
Has anyone experienced any "healing reaction" ie skin eruptions or some other form of detox that is proof we can detox heavy metals like vaccines or other toxic build up. Does anyone know more about the detox ability of RAF and high meat?

Welcoming Committee / Fermented Foods?
« on: October 13, 2012, 11:11:09 am »
I am just 4 months into my experiment with RAF. Due to toxic build up it has been one helluva journey. If were it not for the miraculous recovery from; epilepsy, depression, underweight, etc. within just the first two weeks of following a strict A.V. Primal diet I would not have continued to eat RAF. The reason being that the following months I became plagued with "detox symptoms" along with digestion issues that were almost too much to bear. After adjusting diet and eliminating all toxins I was able to somewhat recover from these RAF "Side Effects". I now experience the healthiest I have ever looked and for the most part felt except for this nagging issue of poor digestion or perhaps mal-absorption. Which leads me to my questions... if I experience improper digestion of raw foods, especially animal, due to a estimated deficiency of enzymes, bacteria, and pro-biotics then could I potentially cure it with fermented foods?

I understand cultured veggies, kefired cream, and cheese all contain beneficial bacteria that have been proven to aid in digestion along with promoting feelings of optimism and I do admit eating those have helped me tremendously but what about meat? Is there really any proof that this "high-meat" is actually good for us?

Could I potentially "over dose" on bacteria by eating too much fermented foods and experience "food-poisoning"?

Is there a limit to how much fermented foods I should eat? Is Nitric Oxide Toxicity a possibility?

These are just a few questions I have if anyone cares to share I would much appreciate it. So far I am the only one I know that eats this way...
