Read Aajonus' newsletter archives.  He studied mercury and fish eating.  You'll have answers there.  Did your carber friend eat their carbs cooked?  How about their muscle meats?  Fats?

I eat raw chicken, raw duck and raw pork.  I ate raw pork tonight, not uncommon for me.  I bought raw chicken yesterday to eat today.  I used to eat more raw chicken.  I liked it better.  I eat more raw pork at the moment.  I like that better.  When I first started I ate more raw fish for my meat.  I liked that.  I have not liked raw beef yet.  I do like raw buffalo.  I do not like raw deer.

Raw "white" meats help calm.  Raw red meats give you iron.  Raw fish can help your nervous system and glands.  That journal sounds like an excellent way to learn and teach.

Some say yes, and to go ahead and eat it (to me).  I have seen people eat it too.  I haven't eaten the moldy meat.  I ponder this too.

Thanks.  Nice to see you laugh.  It's not a paraffin candle.  It's like those ones made in colonial times.  I guess when people got hungry enough they ate their candles.  Why not?  People have eaten worse.  We're in this for health though hopefully.  I need very edible fats, not substandard other usage fats.

Do you get brains where you live?  I want to eat a brain.  I think it's illegal here.  I will inquire, maybe US Wellness or Northstar Bison or some farm in Pennsylvania or other neighboring state.

Last night I dined in a restaurant with no raw meat on the menu.  I asked to speak with the owner, and he prepared my dish himself and even asked me about each ingredient he thought of mixing with it.

What  is your general diet like in a given day?

Some days I eat terribly, but on good days, well here it is hopefully for today:

First I'm going to take a spoon of Bragg's ACV, an organic lemon and a spoon of unheated unfiltered honey, combine, drink.

In about an hour drink a glass of celery juice.

Another hour then a 1/4 in. cube of raw unsalted grassfed cheese dipped slightly in unheated unfiltered honey.

Fifteen minutes later and 4oz grassfed suet and 4 oz raw hasn't been frozen buffalo meat, use teeth to cut.

Four hours later a 1/4 in. cube cheese like before.

Fifteen minutes later and have 2 1/2 oz. raw cultured biodynamic cream, 2 raw organic whole eggs, 1 spoon unheated unfiltered honey, a couple of frozen organic berries (I have blackberry, raspberry, cranberry, dark cherry and blueberry to choose from).

Four hours later and another cup of celery juice.

One hour later and another cheese snack.

Fifteen minutes later more suet and more buffalo.

If thirsty any time through the day from physical exertion in the sun drink a little Perrier from its glass bottle.

Just before bed some raw biodynamic butter.

Two AM if I wake up a half cup of homemade raw biodynamic kefir.

Post workout:  Pureed: 1 yam (6oz)
                                3 oz RAW ground Beef
                                 2 TBs Coconut Oil
(I can't stomach ground meat by itself just yet, thus I have to mix it with the yam or sweet potato, which I know are not Paleo)

May I suggest instead of potato, to use mint leaves?  Starch really whacks me.  Raw fresh leafy mint mixes really combines well with meat.  I macerate the mint just before adding to meat.

    Yes, candles are good nutrition.

One of either USWellness meats or Slanker's will ship grassfed tallow; people have bought the 30 pound bucket.

Please note that in spite of all the negativity from one of our members, no one has ever experienced any problems with tallow, even after eating it for years in pemmican.

My stomach is very sensitive xEdgexRNx.  I couldn't eat any of your meals -v.  All these guys are giving you great advice.  Take care.  It may take time to get used to the idea of eating different, but you want to get well, so I would do it.  I have done it. I feel like I'm alive, when before I had no energy, no flexibility, bad skin, in pain all the time all over, etc.

General Discussion / Re: COCONUT CREAM
« on: June 14, 2009, 11:36:38 am »
Concentrate is right! pff lol.  That is a high fat product.  To concentrate it you have to dry it.  Aajonus is against dried fats.  I would say "TROPICAL TRADITIONS COCONUT  O0 CREAM CONCENTRATE" is not on his dietary recommendations.  Can't you get other raw fats?  Or did he prescribe coconut cream to you?  There are other primal dieters in Australia.  Maybe you can look them up and ask them where they get coconut cream.

Although I prefer to totally avoid wheat and gluten, I am more familiar with Ayurveda perspective on kaphagenic allergy such as to wheat, and aajonus' way of when you do eat wheat- how to.

I wonder what exact effect raw blood drinking since weaning has on them, or would have on anyone else.

I get it from a shop which has a website(something like red23.co.uk ?)

Nicola,

Elainie posted on GI2MR that she uses Blue Ice cod liver oil.  This is here profile here, to contact her. http://www.rawpaleoforum.com/?action=profile;u=234.  She's in the US though, so I don't know, Tyler's source might be more convenient to you.

General Discussion / Re: DUCK
« on: June 04, 2009, 07:47:00 am »
Ducks are all red meat.  Chicken has red and white meat.  On the chicken I like the raw white meat.
As to preference, ducks and chickens are meats I do not crave for.
They are the last on my list.

I've eaten dark red raw duck meat.  My cats devour it too.

General Discussion / Re: Frogs?

I never tried frogs at all, and no raw snails (or hares).  Tell me what you find.  If I ever do eat those, I want to know, are they good alone?  Mono days? With suet?  Unheated honey?  Lemon?  I don't have a frame of reference.  They seem a little alien to my table/kitchen as of yet.

You know you're a RPD'er when your cat steals your previously vegan son's breakfast and practically sucks the whole bowl down her throat in one gulp.

But is there any solid proof that this kind of practice really works? Maybe some other sources, not AV?

I know some raw vegans gain and lose weight over and over just due to "detox".

http://www.giveittomeraw.com/forum/topics/belly-fat?page=1&commentId=1407416%3AComment%3A1021860&x=1#1407416Comment1021860

Aajonus asked me not gain weight, and suspects I might gain so he told me how to lose if that should happen accidentally, as the diet he prescribed me is supposed to keep weight stable.  I'm coming from a metabolism that was basically stopped.  That's my personal experience.

If I were you, I'd eat only eggs, raw whole fertile pastured eggs.

At night before sleep I'd take a little grass grazed raw butter, and then in the middle of the night I'd have a half cup homemade grass grazed raw kefir, or vice versa.

I would continue this till my gut healed a little, mini mono mealing.

Then when I added meat in, I would only add a little at first.  I would not eat carbs with it, but I would eat fat with it.

When I eat fruit, I'd eat it with fat, not protein.

No one gave me the same exact diagnosis as you, but I have been very skinny, I have had irritable bowel, I have been raw vegan, I have had totally nonfunctional digestion, and I am strong now.

That goes particulary for belly fat, if I am not mistaken.

That's not surprising as Aajonus frequently recommends that people constantly raise and lower their weight on the primal diet. He believes that this helps to store toxins in the fat-cells and then get rid of them when the person subsequently loses weight.

The pictures of course are good.  The video however disappeared when the young girl?  Kalikatarin deleted her or his account.

If anyone has the interview, it's always good hearing it.  This is all I see for now: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/06/prweb530592.htm

Omnivorous Raw Paleo Diet / Re: Talk about avocados
« on: May 23, 2009, 01:19:49 pm »
How do you eat your avocado's?

I don't eat them often, but when I do, it's normally with white tuna, toro or salmon sashimi.  Very occasionally I've eaten it with buffalo.

When I go with my family to this Vegan restaurant, I get the "avocado salad", which is a sliced avocado with sauce.  I order it without sauce and I mash the avocado.  Last time the waiter came by and stared at it, as he apparently did not recognize it from their menu.

Off Topic / Re: What's your blood type?
« on: May 14, 2009, 12:11:01 pm »
The durianrider says he has type O blood and I believe he's telling the truth about that.  He harps on how he eats almost all carbs and it's right for everybody to eat more and more carbs.  Yes O has a problem with potatoes, beans and wheat, but not carbs, it's cooked.  I know plenty of people of the three "newest" blood types that do better very low carb high protein high fat.
Since this mutation occurred probably b/c of farming, then perhaps those A, B, AB types can tolerate a few more carbs than type O.  And since farming is in their past, I would suspect at least a couple other mutations to make plant materials more useful and less harmful.

Go to the Skype.com page.  Download Skype.  If the other person doesn't have Skype, buy Skype Out credits.  If you want people to call you on the computer buy Skype In credits.  Get a headphone/microphone set.  Same basic thing with some of the other services.
