Been long ago that I posted in this forum. Way too many things going on in life. But happy to come back and give some feedback. My knowledge grew quite a lot when it comes to health, after spending several more years of self experimentation. So yes Antoine, red wine is still, after such a long time the single best thing when it comes to aiding impaired digestion, especially before going to bed. You can drink sparkling water, do qi gong excercises, take a walk, run, but when things are really blocked up and digestion does not move nada, it´s red wine to the rescue. I´d say 1/4 of a glass was a good measurement back then. So around 200-250ml. Don´t overthink. Sometimes I drank 2 glasses when things were really bad, but that no longer is the case. When I have a big meal in the eve though, especially containing beef, I also drink red wine, mostly around half a bottle or 2-3 good glasses of dry red wine.
I experimented a lot with different wine brands and grape varieties by now and I´d say from experience Carbernet, Merlot, Zinfadel work well. Syrah is a bit watery but tasty, Malbec is good too, Primitivo ok, Pinot Noir too, Valpolicella, Lambrusco not effective. some local varieties are ok, although mostly tasteless. Certain Cuvees work too. For certain reasons I have issues with Rioja and Chianti, they give headaches even though they are not colored (by Mega Purple for ex.). Doubt its the aging because with other varieties no issue. Could be the barrels or the grape variety itself. The 2nd best thing I started doing in the morning to have digestion, also during the day, is a good amount of freshly grated ginger (not from china) and lots of lemon. China Ginger is stronger but I distrust the quality. Grate the ginger in a grater (cutting it up is less effective) and add half a lemon including the peel. Doing a bigger batch makes most sense. Beside that a tablespoon of blackseed oil is equally good for helping digestion. Take it since years by now, pretty much daily. Its pretty much a cure for almost everything. Prophet Mohammed seconds that.
Which brand(s) of black seed oil do you use and when do you ingest it during the day or in relation to meals (right before food or poured over food or r ight after a meal or 30 min before meal on empty stomach or 2 hours after a meal on empty stomach ?
Also, do you ingest that 15 ml dose in one go or divide it in 3 x 5ml during the day ?
What else did you experiment with since yor regularly posted here, what 'diet' do you follow these days ?
The wines you ingest contain sulphates or other additives ? If no, can you please post links to the exact best wines you consume since I can't find additive free ones ?
I suppose the wines you consume are pasteurised, right ?
