I think this whole plastic-issue is vastly overblown. For one thing, you have to have these liquids stored in plastic for years before the chemicals start leaching into the liquids. Also, if one doesn't store the bottles in open sunlight, the process takes longer.

I've been drinking excellent alkaline mineral-water from natural springs enclosed in plastic and have never had an issue.

Sorry to disappoint you. Here's some science. Enjoy!  O0 http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2009/04/29/2555698.htm

Remember that water is a solvent! Water is probably the worst thing you could store in plastic other than acidic substances (such as perrier water, fruit juice, etc. < acidic). On the other hand, raw fat in PET (especially say butter that's JUST been place in a plastic tub then in the fridge 2 days before you eat it right after milking/butter-making) shouldn't be a problem. Whatever would possibly leach into that would be bound to and never absorbed by the body since the fat is raw. (If anything were to leach at all)

Who doesn't have that childhood experience of going out to dinner with the family, eating your burger and fries w/ ketchup lots of water or soda, etc. The kicker being the fries, of course. Yuck! Then within the following hours feeling uncomfortable/ill (sometimes to the point of vomiting> on cue!  -v ) or feeling groggy, headachy, or better yet, the classic "I wish I didn't eat that"/regretting having eaten at all! I'd rather have starved myself! What the hell's wrong with me! Or going to the buffet intent on gout, and walking out instead with "Oh god! Please spare me this painful death! Release the curdled bolus that plagues my stomacular unit! Augggggg! And no vomit please! Nothing worse than blowing canned vegetables out my nose after the fact! None of that, please! GOD!!!!!!!!!".

"Sigh." - Charlie Brown

That was always a good one.  ;)

A final point. As my family brews up some Strei'ts boxed latkes for Chanukah this evening, bathing them in bubbling canola oil, only one thing comes to mind>  :(  :'( :( ??? -[ -v              ;)

Also, I have no experience with fresh organs/glands. I am currently 18 (just turned) and trying to get things together so I can go fully raw/Primal. In the meantime, I'm getting there, slowly.

No plastic is safe. The BPA issue is their way of making people feel comforted by #'s 1,2,4,5, and 6. But again, how can you tell something's dangerous or not, if you have no idea what's being judged in the first place! To quote some old cartoons, "Hullabaloo." ;) Ya don't hear that word too often! Just as they chose to only identify ?33? by-products of cooking, they've only chosen to recognize BPA and a few other "thingies" in the world of plastic. Ummmmmmmm. Glass.. :)

DO NOT FREEZE IT. It is perfectly safe to eat it all at once (or as you said, "one a day"). If you don't believe this, please look up Aaj's "power drink" in book #2. The science goes like this, though, as taken from Aaj's February interview on One Radio Network. When Aaj fed animals freeze-dried glands, they would HAVE to take them every month in order to reteach their own glands how to function and MAINTAIN this change. FOREVER. When he fed animals fresh raw glands, the had to take them in increasingly distant intervals, and within a year or so, no longer had to consume fresh glands in order to "reteach" their own glands how to function properly. They were only able to maintain the change via raw, fresh glands. (Yes, that includes Dr. Ron's for the freeze-dried). NOTE: by one a day, I guess you are referring to buffalo thyroids (which are much smaller) as oppose to collosal "sweatbreads". Even if you had the latter, you could just store it in a jar in the back of the fridge as you use it over a couple weeks. Worst that could happen is it'd get "high". And that's only beneficial.
