General Discussion / Anyone eat raw deer/venison?
« on: May 29, 2011, 05:24:13 am »
Anybody eat raw deer/venison. I was talking to a hunter who ate raw grassfed cow/cattle but said he would never eat raw deer/venison because of parasite issues being a wild animal. I think this is just bullshit though. Just thought I'd ask for others' experiences.

Health / Do women have lower sex drives these days???
« on: May 22, 2011, 01:21:25 am »
hello, I thought with the new post of grandma's being stronger, I would also add a post questioning a huge concern of mine. It is no doubt that with the increase of exogenous estrogens in our environment, accompanied with other hormonal disruptors, men have become worse in both libido and sexual function than ever before. However, now that I have been in a relationship with a girl that I love for almost 8 months, I am realizing that she too seems to have a very low sex drive. I love this girl very much and we both established that while sex is a very important aspect of our relationship, it is not the foundation. Anyway, I try so hard with my girl to "get her" to want to have sex with me and she has a hard time "getting wet" for sex that it is very frustrating for both of us.

Now either she is lying, or something is really wrong with her, but when I probe her questions such as "can I do anything to help you improve this," or "is it something with me that is the problem," she tells me that everything is great with me and that she thinks I am very sexy. She is always complimenting me on my physique and how good I look with very little, if any, clothing. Problem is, she never asks for any sex (or sexual acts), never offers any, and seems to try to change the subject when I ask her. I have been getting very frustrated lately as I feel a healthy relationship should be when both partners want sex, not just one. Problem is, every time I ask her she tells me that she really wants to have sex. I am at a loss for words.

Oh yeah and I failed to mention that she is a virgin with a mother that is a strict catholic, which has its pitfalls. My girlfriend and I have talked about having sex many times and she says that she really wants to do it with me. She says she doesnt buy into all that no sex before marriage balogna that homosexual priests preach.

However, when we "attempt to" she seems to get all scared, and she is not physically or psychologically ready for it. Many times, this drove me to feel very uncomfortable, and even guilty to the point where I even lost an erection over it. We are both 20 years old and should not have any problems.

Now, if this is a low sex drive issue, I dont want to give up on her because I myself have had low testosterone and low sex drive in the past but in the past year took my T and sex drive waaaayyy up and regularly feel urges and want sex all the time. Since I have reawakened I want to put myself to good use.

Anyways, enough talk about my issues. I dont expect anyone behind a computer screen to really help me anyway. My real question goes out to both guys and gals on the forum; Do women have lower sex drives than they used to? What is the cause of low female libido in her young years.

It is obvious what the cause is after menopause= low testosterone/ healthy estrogen ratio /progesterone/dopamine

To me it just seems wrong for any woman to experience low sex drive in her young years where she should be reproducing. Thoughts???

General Discussion / Arctic animal livers will kill you
« on: February 25, 2011, 06:13:29 am »
http://animals.howstuffworks.com/mammals/eat-polar-bear-liver.htm/printable

Arctic animals generally have much much higher levels of vitamin A in their livers than other animals. According to the article, Polar bears have over triple the vitamin A in their livers than humans do. People who ate the whole livers of seals and polar bears have died in the past. The deaths were caused by acute hypervitaminosis A, or an extreme excess of vitamin A. This proves that eating too much of a good thing can be bad. Truthfully, we rarely seem to need to eat liver, or other organs for that matter. In all of my reading, it seems to me that tribes and indigenous populations generally shared the organs and did not divide them. This way, no toxicity would result. Be careful with the organs you guys eat. Make sure you only eat organs in small quantities. Otherwise, toxicity can arise.

Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / Pioneer's Pet food only Journal
« on: February 20, 2011, 11:50:18 pm »
Hello guys, I have been doing this diet for about 7 months and am about to take the next step in my dietary adventure. Got a chance to speak to many about this and I have decided to go on a pet food diet. I wont say the company who is providing me with the pet food, but let's just say it is $2.98 per lb and perfect for a growing college student like me. I thought this may help many like me who are in desperate need for cheaper grassfed meats. The pet food I get is from basically all cuts of the animal and very nutrient dense. It is very gamey and not the best tasting but I am getting used to it. For now the only way I can really eat the stuff is to chew a little then chase it with water. That is working for me now and for the time being it is what I am going to do. Heard a bunch of rumors that water dilutes HCL, but I think that is shear nonsense.

I will be doing a seasonal diet approach. It is not a philosophy started by me, but I believe in it and want to try it. I will be eating only what is available locally, raw, and in season. In other words, Only meat in the colder months and mainly meat with some wild self harvested vegetables and berries in the warmer months. We'll see how long that lasts, but that is getting from the point. I am creating this journal to help those who need a cheaper alternative to higher priced grassfed beef.

I have a bunch of goals with this diet as well.
1) gain muscle mass
2) get leaner
3) lower the aromatase enzyme, lower estrogen
4) Increase Testosterone
5) become more athletic
6) have better health in general
7) have beautiful skin (I've had skin problems all my life)

I quit the raw dairy a couple months back and am already seeing an improvement in my acne.

My diet as of today and for the next couple months will be the following:
-3lbs of pet food a day (3227 total calories, 2079 calories from fat (64%), 1148 calories from protein( 36%).
-Additional raw fat cuts if needed from either suet or back fat.

This probably will more than suffice for all of my nutrients as the pet food is basically like eating an entire animal. I'll probably get like a dime to quarter sized piece of liver every day.

One thing is I may cheat from time to time. The only time I cheat is on special occasion, like dinner with my girlfriend or family, and even then I choose to eat like only rare steak. This will however be once in a blue moon. I'd say my strictness will be around 95% raw pet food.

My high caloric diet costs around $9 a day for 3lbs of high nutrient dense meat, which is a steal. If I factor shipping, costs will be around $10-11 a day.

I dont plan on eating 3lbs of meat a day forever, I may change the ratios a little but I am going to still stick to a pet food only diet. I will be posting pictures of me and my possible progress soon. First I will put in some starting pictures in a couple of days.

One more thing is I will also try to be boosting testosterone with natural products. Leave the arguments aside. For someone who has had low testosterone in the past, I feel amazing with the boost I get from a few natural products.

I will be cycling D aspartic acid ( an amino acid) every couple months and taking a little maca daily. Other than that I may take Dr. William Wong's transdermal bull testicles gel. It is called andrive and is applied right to the testes. Bull testicles absorb right into the testes and bypass the digestive tract. After I boost my Test naturally, I suppose my diet may be able to spare my newer higher levels and I will be able to taper off the test boosters so I will not need them anymore. I will be taking blood tests every month to let you know where I am at.

I usually blood test:
Total testosterone
Free testosterone
LH
SHBG
DHT
lipids (sometimes)
bioavailable testosterone
Estradiol
Estrone

Even though I have lower levels of T, I am still testosterone dominant. I have a level of 13 in estradiol, which means it is fairly low. My T ranges in the numbers of 300's to 600's. I wish to get my T to a range where my body feels good. The main goal is to increase free testosterone, the only number that really matters.

A guy could feel great if his total T is 300 and his free T is 280. On the flipside  a guy could feel like crap if His total T is 1000 and his free T is only 50. Therefore, the only T that matters is the usable T. If 90% of T is binded to SHBG, it is useless.

Let me know your thoughts and feedback about this adventure of mine. Any would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, I've been interested in macro nutrient ratios lately. For years I have been into low carbs and it has done wonders for my health. Now, what I deem low carb is about 30-60 carbs a day. All I have been eating to be healthy in the past couple years is fruit, meat, and vegetables. I went raw roughly 4-5 months ago and I am pretty lean right now and abs are visible although not completely defined.

I have noticed that when I cut carbs to pretty much keto levels, I am the leanest and feel the most euphoria. Possibly this is the way I should eat. I am in no way trying to tout my beliefs as to what the proper macro ratio is, because, frankly that depends solely on the person. I am just saying what works for me. In just a short 5 months on the RPD my acne is 100% gone for the first time in my life, I gained a significant amount of muscle, picked up a very attractive and sweet girl, raised my testosterone (shown in blood tests), and barely put on any fat with my muscle addition.

As I have stated in the past, being lean does not necessarily correlate with health. There are plenty of fat people who are healthier that many thin people. However, I do recognize that in today's society, it is attractive to be lean and muscular with abs. It's almost used as a selective breeding tool as well.

The other day my GF was serious when she said I should be a model and it started to get me thinking. If I could pull of really low bodyfat levels by summer 2011 and retain most of my muscle, I will try it out. Hell I dont really mind easy money. This is all wishful thinking, I know, but still why the hell not?

Currently I am 5'10" and 175lbs with about 8% bodyfat with a bodpod. I eat 1.5 to 2lbs of meat a day with very little raw milk, some eggs, and vegetables. I eat about 2-3x per day because I rarely get hungry with all the fat keeping me satiated. Rarely eat fruit. I eat about 50% of my calories from fat, 10% from carbohydrates, and 40% from protein.

My plan for being extremely lean is to increase the ratio of fat, protein, carb to 65/35/5 or something like that.

Any suggestions? I feel that I could help to be a symbol of what raw paleo can do in all aspects of my life, even a part time college job.

I started this thread because of my interest with macro nutrient ratios, and what others have experimented with. Cmon lets all talk about our experiences with this interesting topic.

Health / Any cures for auditory processing.
« on: December 08, 2010, 11:22:41 pm »
Hey guys, my girlfriend has an auditory processing disorder. She is completely fine socially and is a great person, however she struggles in academics. I try to help her, but it is hard to with all the work I have as well.

She basically cannot comprehend what people say sometimes because of the way she hears things. It really sucks because I know she is a very smart girl, but this holds her back.
This is a condition where many grow out of, but I dont know whether she can or not. I have heard of synapse training, where a psychologist and speech pathologist help people train their synapses and many times can cure this but IDK.

I was wondering if you guys know if anything would help. Do you guys think this diet would help this at all. I am slowly trying to introduce raw food. I got her to like raw milk, vegetables, and dairy, but it will be a while, probably years, til raw meat. Please guys help... :)

The S 510 is a bill that if passed, basically will put organic farmers out of business and we will have to rely on monsanto and big agribusiness. If you ever wanna eat grassfed meat again, go to this site http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/, go to the take action section, and write your congressmen against the S 510 bill. Please guys take action now, and spread the word!

Health / Hormonal problems
« on: September 26, 2010, 05:01:25 am »
Hi guys, I have been horribly struggling with secondary hypogonadism for 2 years. This diet has been raising my testosterone pretty fast in the first few months. However, they only have leveled off around 5-600 which is not that good. I wanna be around 800. I'm wondering if any of you have had issues like this before and cured them or resolved them with this diet or other ways. My friend has the same issue as me. We both incured these problems around 17 years old and have no idea what caused them. We both did way too much exercise though and we think that it is EIH or exercise induced hypogonadism. Either way, since this diet, I have gained much manliness and chest hair with extra T. Im just wondering if levels of 5-600 is all I am going to get. I feel that I am in the prime of my life and need to have more. My friend does not even believe me that this diet raised my testosterone, he thinks I'm lying. Although, he is starting to gain more interest in it. Do you guys think that it will slowly go up to higher levels? What are your guys experiences with this diet and hormones, sex, and fertility, all are welcome to comment. Thanks.

Hot Topics / Please guys, Pioneer needs your help!
« on: September 04, 2010, 12:32:59 am »
Ok so I was on the RPD for four months in the summer and experienced miraculous results: Strength, muscle, high libido, high mental clarity, focus, more female attention, the list goes on, and sadly had to go back to living in a dorm. It is PA state policy that if you live in a dorm, you must have a meal plan. So I fought it and went to everyone I could to get it removed, but couldnt :(.

In the first week of eating cooked denatured food again I have been experiencing the worst stomach pain ever, accompanied by Zero appetite after a few days of eating the shit. I have lost 10 lbs, probably a lot muscle as well. I cannot think as clearly either. Now I did speak to the chef at school and he can accommodate me with gluten free food, but I dont think that is enough.

I threatened to sue as well. However, it is a state issue and would be my fault.

I have decided that my life/ academics is way more important than $ and am going to say F*#K the meal plan and buy organic, raw food to eat in my dorm. I'll waste about $1000 every 4 months, but it will all be over once I get an apartment next year.

So what I have concluded about me being sick as soon as I got to school, is that no one has any idea what they are putting in the food. I am also allergic to gluten, and even the meat can have gluten in it. Cafeteria food is the worst ever. I feel like I am starving now without eating in days, but just have no appetite whatsoever.

What should I do guys? Help!

If anybody has the plans to build bob beck's blood purifier/ electrifier let me know. Also, I read that the purifier kills bacteria and pathogens, but isnt that undesirable. I mean bacteria are symbiotic, and without them we're dead. Is this the case or is it somehow only bad pathogens? Also, I heard that there are several of these that perform different functions. If so which ones do what? Thanks guys

General Discussion / Is melanoma from the sun BULLSHIT?
« on: August 12, 2010, 03:14:54 am »
With the last topic about sunning nude ant testosterone, I was thinking more and more about UV and the sun. I was thinkin since the media, government agencies, medical community, and corporations lie to us so much, maybe this is a lie to. I always wonder do people really get problems from "too much" sun. It almost seems stupid. I mean, it does seem unnatural to be indoors all winter, to be white as paper, then all of the sudden go out in the sun and get burnt. Maybe that has some truth in those cases. But if I was out in the sun everyday, my body would adapt with tanning, then it seems that I would'nt have a problem. It seems quite possible that on the flipside, suntan lotion is actually giving people skin cancer more than anything else, and the etiology of melanoma could be a red herring. Thanks for that saying Tyler.

16
I'm basically making a post for open discussion for some of my new ideas. I have not used calories for a long time and dont think that they are necessary. Our bodies obviously dont "burn" calories, in fact calories is nothing that our body can actually utilize. Recently, I have been telling people that the whole thing about counting calories is stupid, and they should just count grams of macronutrients and grams in general. Here are a few of my questions for you guys.
1- since calories dont matter at all, is it still true that the macro nutrient fat yields more energy than protein and carbs? With that being said, dont forget that a gram of ketones in the urine is approximately 5kcal, so there is a net loss of 5kcal from the original 9kcal consumed.
2- Since calories dont matter at all, what do some of you guys use to get estimates of how much you are eating? I use grams, but Ive heard some use other methods.
3- Are there any books refuting the calories theory? Id be really interested to read them
4- I've seen some guys gain more muscle than other guys even though they eat less. Maybe on a raw diet, this would not be the case, and maybe those certain guys that gain more muscle have more enzyme mutations for cooked foods than the other guys. However, this evidence also goes completely against the theory that the only way to gain muscle is by eating more. Those guys may have had more hormones than the others. On the flip side, I have also seen people stay lean by eating kilos of food a day, while someone else becomes practically obese eating the same amount of food. I know genetics, hormones, and metabolism play a huge role, but here is my question, and this could start a theory to think about. Is it possible to manipulate diet (eating certain times a day, type of food, type of rest, etc...) to the point where you could eat less and gain muscle, or eat more and lose fat?

General Discussion / Not milk video: I'll never drink it again
« on: August 06, 2010, 06:13:05 am »
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYpafipJyDE&feature=related

This guy is a little pompous, but does make some good points. Dumbass when he says fat and cholesterol are bad, but smart when he says all the wrongs of milk. Most of this said is about pasteurized milk, not raw milk. But that doesnt mean humans were meant to consume any milk at all anyway. Many on this forum say they cant take milk. I for one fair just fine drinking raw milk, but Im gonna quit it anyway because I dont believe in it.

Ok, guys I just got so bored with the last topic I had to post a new and exciting one. Here it is http://www.amazon.com/Body-Electric-Electromagnetism-Foundation-Life/dp/0688069711

I picked up this book yesterday and could not put it down. The genius who wrote it talks of how there was already a cure for cancer and many other diseases found and they dont want you to know about it. The cure is electromagnetism and giving small electric charges to the blood. I just started reading it and I'll let you guys know how it is.

What you guys think about this?

Hot Topics / where to get fresh meat
« on: July 22, 2010, 04:44:20 am »
I think there has been a topic on this already but this is buggin me. I want to know where to get fresh meat. Is it even possible to buy unfrozen meat? The biggest thing I dont get in Aajonus's books is that he talks a lot how like cooking, freezing causes toxins and unutilizable parts to meat. However, he does not explain how or where one obtains fresh, unfrozen meat. What's the deal? Also, anyone know where to get brain?

Hot Topics / Sleeping- Seasonal Nutrition and the "lights out" book
« on: July 18, 2010, 12:16:55 pm »
I once read a book called "lights out", by TS Wiley and Bent Formby. It was all about sleep and melatonin. She stated that it is our innate desire to crave sugar in the summer while the fruit is in season as we simultaneously increase our insulin resistance  to store fat. The problem is with the invention of the lightbulb, humans are not going to sleep when it gets dark out so we always think its summer. Apparently we should be sleeping all through the night, even during those long 14-16 hour winter nights. Our bodies are conditioned to sleeping 7-8 hours or less like the length of darkness on summer night: so we always have insulin sensitivity and crave sugars because we think its summer. It seems like a far fetched theory to me but could be plausible. Sweetness however, is associated nutrition in nature. A prime example is sweet fruits provide many nutrients and vitamin c that prevent scurvy. Inuit and indigenous tribes that solely eat meat and no fruit get their vitamin c from adrenal glands (which happen to be the richest known source of vitamin c) and disperse individual portions to their tribe members. Also, raw meat in general contains vitamin C before cooking. C can also be found in stomach lining I think. I'm getting off topic, but does anyone think the sleep-crave theory has any validity?

heres the link to the book

Once again, Im gonna post a shawn croxton video. Love the guy, he speaks for the people and in search for the truth.

General Discussion / enzyme loss in meat and veggies
« on: July 05, 2010, 10:09:04 am »
Hey RPDers I read somewhere that if you pluck an orange (or any fruit for that matter) off of a tree then within 30 minutes 50% of the enzymes are lost. I guess when we cavemen found fruit we ate them right after pulling them off the tree. Does anyone know the best way to preserve enzymes in meat. Doesnt freezing meat destroy them? THough I heard flash freezing works. However, I am reading up on enzymes and I gotta say they are like the staff of life and about the most important thing in food. Systemic enzymes have worked better for cancer than any other therapy out there and has a success rate over 90%!

Hot Topics / Wisdom teeth anyone?
« on: July 05, 2010, 12:13:26 am »
My dentist says I should get my wisdom teeth removed for no apparent reason so I'm not going to. I told him my teeth dont hurt and I feel fine, and he said "well you should get them out before they even start to hurt." I told him "you guys told me 2 years ago that I should get my wisdom teeth out soon when they start to hurt and to come in right away when they do. A whole 2 years went by and pain free."

My question to you all out there is how bad is it to have your wisdom teeth removed? Also, some of my bottom teeth are slightly crooked. I read a post by someone on this forum that said his teeth became straight when he went on this raw diet. Do any of you think thats true? I noticed many people's jaws get wider and this may give people sufficient room for teeth to straighten. IDK but does anyone know anything about this?

Hot Topics / How bout parasites?
« on: June 22, 2010, 11:16:46 am »
Im sure people always tell you guys you're going to get parasites from the diet. Personally I know some of you have been on this diet a lot longer than I have and seem to be fine. But whats all the fuss about parasites and where do they come from. I came across some info that said 99% of parasite cases are from cooked or processed food and not even raw. My doc is a very smart man but does not know this diet well and is always trying to scare me out of it by telling me Im gonna get a parasite from raw meat. I have also read AV books and cant seem to find parasite info in them. Anything you guys can tell me on this topic.
