Omnivorous Raw Paleo Diet / Re: Nuts VS Meats
« on: October 05, 2010, 04:15:06 pm »
I seem to do fine on nuts too, i eat about 100gs every morning, maybe its because I eat alot my body has adapted to be better at digesting them, associated gut bacteria etc. I have noticed though a huge difference between how my body reacts to organic nuts vs non-organic. Non organic give me stomach upsets, and generally make me feel slightly off kilter. I usually heat brazil nuts in the oven for about 5 minutes to kill any fungus that grows on them. Cashews have this problem too, they're the worst offenders, you can actually see the red colonies of fungus growing on them in alot of cases.

Your best best is to find a holistic dentist and get them to test a range of different materials on you to determine which one your body agrees with most. One option is biocompatible composite- Diamond Crown and Diamond Link material, which is regularly used in replacement of amalgams.

Theres an article here which touches on Gorilla digestion, suggesting they end up absorbing large amounts of fat from their diet due to the high amounts of bacteria in their gut, hence their size and power.

What should one do if there is a considerable build up of blood at the bottom of the jar of high meat? Is it best to pour it off? Thanks!

Tyler, also something to try would be MMS Miracle Mineral Supplement. I've had huge success with cleansing myself of infections, candida and warts with it, and going on reports its very effective for parasites also.

"Why is it after having sex, most men want to either leave or have their partner go away?"

Its because you've just given up all your bodies energies by ejaculating. If you go full blown orgasm and ejaculate you drain your energy, your chi, and all you do is want to shut off and sleep. Your body gives so much of its energy when you ejaculate, which makes sense as your creating a new life. The trick is to learn to become multi orgasmic (yes its possible for men too) and separate orgasm from ejaculation thus not wasting your chi. When you learn this you can have sex for hours, and orgasm many times, and still feel 100% energised afterwards. Its explained fully in the book "The Multi-Orgasmic Man", im about half way through it at the minute ..

I don't think this is a rule.  It probably depends of the individual.  I feel pretty refreshed right after.

Try ejaculating 3-4 times in one sitting, and the exaustion will probably rear its head then. Im sometimes not too drained after one, depending on my arousal.

Precisely needs_and_wants!  Hence the Taoist practices I mentioned earlier.

Personally, I limit myself to very few ejaculatory orgasms per year now.  There are a whole host of books on the subject but I prefer the more traditional taoist reflections and advice rather than some of the modern sensationalist, almost consumerist books on the subject.  Done correctly, chi can not only be preserved by certain practices but actually 'gained' during sex with the right partner from the females multiple orgasms!  :)

Hi Michael, the book IS based on traditional Toaist reflections, although im curious to know what literature/material you have on the subject?

I dont know what you are talking about mate. After those backbreaking 2-3 minutes of labour, my woman falls asleep and I start up Cubase. Seriously though. The chemical balance in your brain changes after sex and it does stuff to you. Some want to sleep, my creativity explodes so I want to produce, etc. But I think that's all there is to it.

A little off topic- but Brother, what do you make? Im also making stuff...

My cat loves raw beef, and interestingly turns it nose up at any cooked meat.

So, I gave it a shot, about a half teaspoon of liquid followed with water, and it seemed fine. I waited about an hour before eating anything else to see how my body reacted but I was grand. It kind of reminded me of aged cheese in a sense, a taste I can see myself becoming quite accustomed to. Happy days, reckon ill try a full teaspoon tomorrow, and maybe a chunk the day after :)

Tyler, do you age in the fridge yourself?

15
IIRC it was another user on here who mentioned that was the way the went about it themselves, only I cant find the comment now. it wasnt an official recommendation or anything..

PaleoPhil, I read it was best to air once/day if aging in higher temps, and thought id do twice/day just to be safe as im a bit apprehensive about the whole thing.

Tyler, I reckon ill give it a shot tomorrow morning then, if you don't hear from me assume the worst :)

hey all, ive been preparing a batch now for about a month, my first. I started with organic grassfed but was vacuum packed so probably wet aged a bit before I started it. do ye suppose this is ok? Ive used the out-of-the-fridge method, and aired twice a day, im thinking of trying it but can't be sure its not contaminated. How does one know for sure? Its brown in colour with a slight tint of green, kind of like army colours. I think I remember reading if its green to chuck it out. maybe I should, but i've come this far and would really like to try it. wat do ye think? is it risky? thanks for your help!  :)

Exercise / Bodybuilding / Re: Losing too much body fat/weight?
« on: August 19, 2010, 11:56:10 pm »
I too have problems with this, even though I regularly eat cooked starches. The only way I can keep a steady weight is if I keep my nut consumption up. If I quit nuts I lose the weight. I imagine fruit would help too, but Im not much of a fruit eater.

Try freezing for a few days. I do this with all my raw meat, as I've had similar experiences to yourself. I've never had any problems eating it raw then. Not sure how much it affects the food, I doubt its much, but it surely is better than cooking.

General Discussion / Raw wild salmon livers
« on: August 04, 2010, 04:05:32 pm »
Are raw wild salmon livers safe to eat? Thinking of asking the local fishmongers to keep me some instead of binning them. Have heard for some reason they're meant to be dodgy though. You never usually hear of salmon livers, just cod. Is it parasites, vit A toxicity? Am going to freeze for a week before I eat them anyways just to be safe. Also thinking of asking for the skin for fats.

Cheers for coming back on and updating. How long have you had the ALF device in, and how long left do you have before you're due to get it out? I've just been for my initial consultation for ALF here (still not had it inserted), im waiting on them to get back to me to schedule my second appointment.
