Whole Foods sells Icelandic and New Zeland lamb. Both grass-fed.

They're not given antibiotics or any other supplemental feed?

You could use a reverse osmosis system and add trace minerals back into it. That's what I do at least. I don't have any natural wells near me.

how do you add minerals back to the water?

A1 milk is probably no good for anyone, this is the only milk I have access to so I only eat the butter.
Butter is a nice treat but If I was able to get more meat I would just do that. When I can I usually do.

What's A1 milk and how do you know if your milk is A1?

How long are raw eggs good out of the fridge? I ordered some pastured eggs that had their bloom still on them so they did not need to be refrigerated.

General Discussion / High meat gone green?
« on: January 15, 2011, 11:06:23 am »
So I tried making high meat with grass fed beef stew meat from Wegmans that gets their beef from Uruguay. I've been airing it once day and its stored in a air tight mason jar in a cabinet out of the fridge. It was day 3 today and I saw that patches of the meat became green so I threw it out. I've made 2 batches of high meat in the past before and its never turned green on me. Why do you think this happened? Was I right in my assumption that it was not OK to eat?

Is this butter raw?

Yes. X-Factor Gold is produced from 100% unpasteurized milk. No heat is used in the centrifuging process of
the oil. It is heated only up to 96 degrees to liquefy for bottling purposes. At 96 degrees, the enzymes and fatty
acids all remain intact. In addition, the Wulzen factor, and important "anti-stiffness" agent is retained, a
substance found in raw animal fat that is destroyed with pasteurization.

General Discussion / Fruit: Good or Bad for Dry Skin and Dandruff?
« on: January 01, 2011, 02:16:22 am »
Does eating lots of fruit help dry skin and dandruff or make it worse? There seems to be debate in this forum if Raw ZC gets rid of dry skin and dandruff or high consumption of hydrating fruits. Personally, I notice when consume like 1lb or raw meat with fat or not fat, my facial skin gets red and flakes and begins to form eczema. But I'm not sure if this something that will pass or should I just indulge in fruits.
