This sight is on about cooked meat being easy to digest

http://www.livescience.com/culture/080811-brain-evolution.html

Life is not fun; do we have to spend are life working out a healthy diet that works? The Bear say's:

Here are some SIMPLE rules (for a carnivore in a hostile social environment.)

You don’t need recipes, the food is too simple.

Only cook your food rare, eat plenty of fat, no salt, drink water.

SEVEN SIMPLE RULES FOR THE HUMAN CARNIVORE

1) Eat only from the animal world (eggs, fish, redmeat and fowl and some dairy are all animal sourced foods, i.e.: meat).

2) Eat nothing from the vegetable world whatsoever. (Very small amounts of flavourings such as garlic/chillies/spices/herbs which may be added, are not ‘food’).

3) On diary: avoid milk and yoghurt (heavy carbs- lactose), use only pure (not ‘thickened’- heavy) cream (read the label), cheese and unsalted butter.

4) Don’t cook your meat very much- just a little bit on the outside- for flavour- blood-rare or bleu. For this reason I advise against eating pork.

5) Eat liver and brains only very infrequently- they are full of carbs.

6) Be sure to have plenty of fat of animal origin at each meal and eat mostly of the fat until you feel you have had enough- you can eat more lean at this point if you like- calories are not important, nor is the number of meals/day. Vegetable oils are not good food.

7) You do not need any supplements of any kind. Drink a lot of water and do not add salt to anything.

That is all there is to it.

DO NOT obsess over what you eat, follow the rules and it will become second nature, and you will not have to think about it at all. What you eat is a social conditioning, most people will never alter their diet from what their mum fed them as babies, only those rare individuals who have a strong will and desire for a normal-sized, healthy body can do it. Even the grossly obese have trouble with my path. You may feel low on energy for a few days or weeks, but as soon as you keto-adapt to zero-carbs that will pass and your energy will be increased.

We need to have some fat with the animal protein we eat or it can be toxic. But is needs to be good fats like those found in grass-fed animals and seafood (fish oil). When I eat raw meat I add flax seed oil for its high omega 3 content and take fish oil supplements. Please educate yourself about good fats versus bad fats.

Well if you have educated yourself about good fats you would not be adding flax seed oil!

Maybe, you have never acquired a taste for it. I had some purple broccoli yesterday. ;D

It's not all about taste, it's about nourishment, digestion, toxins, gas, your small and large in testins

...and it is winter in Switzerland!!!!

I made my self very ill eating raw vegan - believe me their is more to health than just posting down raw "material".

Timmypatch, woooo, good post - "detox" has always been my  :' . I look at the goats, sheep and other animals (I do go out every day) and ask my self if they count bowl movements, do liver, colon and other clean outs or eat "special" items for this and that reason. I bet they don't plan to change their diet because of Christmas -\.

I got a strange craving for broccoli out of the blue the other night, so I bought some and I've been eating it. Maybe it was the high vitamin C levels in the broccoli that I was craving?

Don't tell me you are eating raw broccoli -v? Meat has all the vitamin C you need!

Where did Nicola mention about EM-products(presumably outside the forum?)?

Tyler, this time no talk about EM-products outside the forum -X

I mentioned on this forum that I got my alkaline ionized water enriched with EM's (I threw my high meat out ;D). What I noticed at the start was that I had "air" coming out of my colon, which reduced day by day. For now I can say that I have a lot of energy threw this water (it brings oxygen to the cells). I believe that health threw EM, water, diet is a constant process.

I've been changing things lately. I thought I would add some thoughts.

It's becoming clearer to me that 'diets' can be an obsession created when people are not dealing with some sort of trauma, whether it's a passing of a loved one, stress, doing a job they hate, not fulfilling a dream, following someone elses dream or even procrastination.

When I'm upset I tend to not deal with the problem and it comes out in physical symptoms like cramps/panic/candida/fatigue/obsessing/allergies etc . These symptoms get so bad they totally distract me from dealing with a problem. The symptoms do their job...
I'll swear to god that my issues are health related so as to not clean my house/avoid breaking down over someone passing away or avoid confrontation.

I'll do anything I can instead of actually dealing with what ever's troubling me.

But what about (from "How many carbs do you need)

The winner is an international professional athlete did 14km in 75 minutes which goes to show how tough the course was.

Obsession? Healthy? Why not have a look at Charles forum (his blog and Charles running journal)

http://www.zerocarbage.com/

I like the Idea of being able to run this type of event

Why, do you think you will be any happier for it? Or healthier...(dealing with a problem?)

I felt terrible during the race and craved carbs about half way through. I recovered very badly and could not think for about 20 minutes after the event. My brain had zero energy.

So now it's "the diet" when your body doesn't do what you expect and see how others make life worth living...

What about alkaline ionized water; for lots of energy http://www.ionlife.info/

I'm doing a low-carb/zero-sugar experiment.

I've cut out fruits and honey from my diet for the time being.
I will still be eating green leaves like heart of romaine and spinach, which have a small amount of carbs, but no sugar. Other than that, it's meat, fat, and organs.

I figure I'll try this out for a week or so, and see what I decide from there.
Tomorrow will be day three of zero-sugar.
Not bad so far. I feel fine, in fact today I had a very steady level of energy.
No cravings for carbs at all today, but had small cravings yesterday.

I thought you "needed" oranges "to go"? I was looking for oranges in the Swiss woods and fields; couldn't find any so I have to do with out  :o

17 large oysters  day before yesterday, yesterday 1 leg of lamb and half a venison liver and venison heart.

What weight was the leg of lamb about and how did you eat it; I stopped eating mutton because 1/2 of the flipping leg is toooo tough and very messy. It bothered me and I could not work out why my colon had to get rid of  ???

I don't view sweet fruits as bad, - for example, I may return from abroad and not be able to get hold of any grassfed meats so have to eat mostly fruits for a week, say - that's not the end of the world.

That's a nice observation.  Wai diet is considered Paleo.
I live in a tropical country and I can attest to the availability of fruits all year round.

Plus in my personal experiments fruit carbohydrates seem to be far different from cooked grain and cooked starchy carbohydrates in the observation that it is highly improbable fruitarians will ever be fat...

On Charles forum you get to know that on this forum people are way to extream -X.

I have runny stooles from raw meat; that is what comes out runny! Lex has talked about this too and his colon was o.k.

I can not hear this "detox" and cleanse any more; no animal does that! We need a diet that works...

Lex has been a good help; no silly talk >:!

We have people eating raw meat and fat...some do well, others don't.

On Charles forum people eat meat and fat; cooked...

I asked the Bear and now I would like to hear what others think and believe:

Hi Bear

I like to eat my beaf raw and the fat/marrow too.
Does this digest better than cooked meat? My
stooles are always runny! What about health and
raw meat vs. cooked or heated meat?

There's no accounting for taste.

Too much fat causes loose bowels, since you can;t
absorb without bile, which is limited.  Eat a bit
slower and you will know when you have had enough
fat.

Why do you mention that salt is not good for a
fat metabolisme? What does it do?

Salt is a poison, and as litel as one ounce of
meat has all the salt you need.  Yes, it
interferes with fat burning, but it doesn't
matter how.

I get to understand, that the human diet should
be raw - animals (carnivors) don't cook food. My
problem is, they don't have runny stooles so
should I be cooking?

I never said that.  All I said was that EXCESSIVE
COOKING reduces the nutritional value of food and
destroys some vitamins.  I don;t eat raw meat
much, since it is the hujman way to sear it for
enhanced flavour and to sterilize the oputside.
Blood rare or 'bleu' is the go.

We are not the same as 'carnivorous animals', a
term which covers a vast array olf meat-eaters.
Most are carnassal carnivores, such as cats, but
we evolved from insectivores hrough a period of
semi-omnivory, then 4 million years of pure
carvnivore ways, but the use of fire was ther
from the very beginning.  Our teeth are those of
the insectivore lineage.

You are in serious trouble, you know.  This sort
of constant questioningt indicates
food-obsessikon, and that will prevent you from
edhering to this regime, full stop.

Eat and enjoy your food.  DO NOT think or worry
about it.  Food should not be a major pat of your
existence, just something you do once or more
times eazch day, and if you have to think   then
you are not comfortable and cannot properly enjoy
the act.

Give it away.  (either the obsessing OR  the
carnivorous lifestyle- they are incompatible).

Well, when I've ate  my raw meat outside on the terrace in Italy, I  couldn't help but notice that the flies were far more attracted to the smell of my raw meats than to the smell of the cooked-foods that other people were eating, no matter how much seasoning etc. had been added.

Flies lay eggs on protein; perhaps the cooked-foods was just/more vegetation. Raw meat will attract flies - they smell blood!

Hot Topics / Re: Blood
« on: October 27, 2008, 09:10:06 pm »
The point is that there are natural salts in blood(and in other raw food) so that one doesn't need extra artificial salt from nonorganic sources, and ingesting too much salt, especially from nonorganic sources, is not a good idea - the amounts of natural salts in blood and other raw foods are small enough so as not to be an issue.

Thats what I don't get; why do we drink water with minerals (organic or nonorganic?) in and why do animals have all that salt in there blood?

Why is salt artificial and nonorganic?

My grandfather (England) died in the night (96 years old) and they said he was dehydrated! Well that is a symptom and I wonder what is behind it.

I just don't know what to "believe"; Lex is using salt and things (tests, colon) seem to be healthy. The next person does not eat salt and claims the same and a nother one is in a mess...

You have no idea - do you feed them goat muscle meat or other tough meat?

You always mention how wonderfull every thing works - you don't exercise, you eat a lot of fruit (what about insulin) and you think humans are always needing to detox with all kinds of gunk. Sorry, but it can get extreme - too much selfconfidence!

I can not and do not boast about diet, health or what ever; I can do my best... and not believe every word others say - words can be used to suit "the situation" one is in.

I didn't know that self-employment had such stringent requirements in Switzerland! So one has to study for a business degree in order to be allowed to set up one's own company?

Yes, you can not just open a shop and sell cakes. After the official school years you have to do a "Lehre" for 3 - 4 year and then learn for the "Meisterprüfung"

I am in a surprised state, to say the least. Yesterday, some utter moron walked past me in the street, and, without stopping or looking back, thwacked me really hard across the forehead. I was pretty non-plussed, but decided it wasn't worth carrying on such  fight over such trivia - I mean I had never met the guy before nor spoken to him or done anything to this complete stranger - I figured he must have been either blind drunk(it WAS a Friday night, after all, or psychotic) - either way, in this police-state, I'd probably have been arrested for retaliating against him, so I decided to let it drop.

Tyler, how can you live in London; you must see shocking things!!! Life in a city is a brain wash and not in the least a place I could/would ever like to live! So much consuming. I spent a few weeks (growing up) in England with some of my relatives; I always had a shock because of all the litter in and around city's and so many poor people, Indians, fast food...England does have nice villages and country side and it's those pictures I like to remember...In England any body can start a business; in Switzerland you have to earn (3, 4 years and longer) a diploma to start up any business or work!

Living in London will reflect on your body and soul.
