« on: September 13, 2010, 10:59:40 pm »I think I read somewhere on this site that some people struggle when eating raw meat that has been defrosted after freezing. Or it may have been that they left it a while after defrosting, and then ate it.
Is this the case?
I am aware that freezing is detrimental to the nutritional content of the food, but do many of you eat raw meat that has been frozen?
Also, the meat that I get comes packaged in air tight plastic wrapping. I store it in the fridge.
I think I read somewhere on the site that there was an issue with leaving raw meat in plastic containers with lids in the fridge (Botulism was mentioned,).
Could I have similar issues with my meat packaged and stored as described?
