Good point.  I have very fair skin and it wasn't dry for the first time when I was using only unheated water.  I need to go back to that.

I have thought maybe that I'm genetically predisposed to it because I'm of Irish descent. I've heard or read that the air is very moist in Ireland. (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, as I have never been there.) It seems that other Irish people have dry skin on our side of the pond.

Also, it just makes sense in general, because none of our ancestors would have gone in hot water. (Unless they found some hot springs, which are few and far between.)

I've just been yelled at these last couple of days.  I was visiting with a caring relative who decided to invent every lie in the world; because I am eating RVAF.  I totally forgive them, but it didn't feel good hearing so much propaganda and I'm considering not visiting them again.  I need to eat the food I eat, and I don't need loved ones losing their minds over it.  The funny thing is, I could probably bet my last dollar and win, that they are considering the diet for themselves secretly, and that may be one of the reasons why they were flying at the mouth making up maggot talk and other things that do not come into my life, but me too anyway, I feel much calmer and happier since I eat in a raw paleo style.

When I grew up, my Mom served us raw salmon, raw sturgeon, shrimp and raw herring every week and we had other fish once in a while too, boiled, broiled, steamed or stewed in a simple sauce.  We also ate marrow at least once a week from various sources mostly chicken, and she prepared and served us calf brain salad once.  We used the chicken fat as a butter replacement at least once per week.  The marrow was mostly boiled, and the brains may have been sauteed, I don't know.  Is there DHA in egg yolks?  We ate egg almost every morning, quite often soft boiled.  It was rare we had fried food, breading, batter.  My friends had never tried clams that I had and I had never had smoked ham that they were accustomed to.  I gotta be grateful.  Without the word DHA being popular yet, my Mom appeared very aware of it.  She said her mother gave her cod liver oil and that it tasted disgusting.

I have a bucket of honey because of the advice of AV, but no longer use any.
Never much liked the taste with meat, and digesting sweets/carbohydrates depletes potassium so can trigger heart problems. It also helps bad micro-organisms grow (candida).

I don't use medical tests for anything, since I learned that they don't test for intra-cellular minerals, and the normal blood tests then are deceptive.

Too bad.   You got heart problems and candida from eating it?  What kind is it?  Has it been warmed?  Maybe one of us wants your honey.  Raw honey can ferment if its moisture content is above a certain number, but it can never spoil from what I know so far.  Do you use it on cuts?
