General Discussion / Vienna
« on: July 25, 2022, 12:56:04 am »
I'm taking a week holiday to Vienna (Austria) in a few days. Anyone have any recommendations on where to find good food. Most importantly i'd like to have access to some good raw milk.

Many thanks

General Discussion / Re: Any experience with High Fish?

Forgot to add an update for the record, the type of fish i used were bogues. I left it for almost a month before trying it for the first time and it was awful. I couldnt eat it, the smell was just vile, nothing like high meat which smells great. This smelled putrid. I then tried a couple weeks later, but the smell was still really bad and i didnt eat it.
I also made some fish in a sort of kefir brine - i made it with salt water, kefir, lemon, and a bit of onion. Left the fish in that for 4 or 5 days before trying them and they were great.

General Discussion / Any experience with High Fish?

Title is pretty self-explanatory. I regularly eat high liver, however i have never heard of anyone making "high fish" by just putting some fish in a jar and letting it sit.

To expand a bit, ive been fishing almost every day for the past couple weeks (underwater, not with a rod) and i eat most of what i catch and the rest i give to the cats.
Today while fishing i had the thought of why not trying to do something else with the fish. I have seen stuff like this https://www.wikihow.com/Ferment-Fish but it just seems unnecessary, thats why im asking if any of you have any experience with making 'fermented' fish in the classical way we know of just leaving meat in a jar.

The medicine is already there.. you just need to eat it.
Couldnt have said it better myself.
The whole "producing medicines" is for the most part a giant scam, and of course theres some good doctors. But the system as a whole isnt concerned with improving individual's health.

It would definitely be worth investigating that (not the kind of thing i study though). I enjoy specially high liver and agree with its benefits, having experienced them myself. It's true that people should know about this kind of stuff for their own benefit, but thats not the direction medicine is/has been taking... its not about health, its about keeping you drugged and squeezing you out of your money.

Welcome.

Are you interested in researching High Meat? Sometimes I think that high meat as a cure for depression would be the only thing powerful enough to cause a paradigm shift in modern medicine (to raw meat/food).

Hi, im Jose, 20, based in Edinburgh and the Canary islands.
Been eating raw for about a year now when i started reading Vilhjalmur Stefansson's books and found Gatis on youtube, which eventually led me to learn about Aajonus.

I enjoy fishing, exploring the countryside, and generally just being in the sun, preferably with a big bottle of raw goat milk.
Im a research master student in the biomedical sciences field, but as im sure a lot of people here can relate, im very critical of "the soyence".

Anyways, id love to talk to like-minded people, specially if you're around edinburgh or the canary islands. Feel free to drop me an email.
