i've seen emu oil at the farmers market. there's a booth, a guy sells it with all kinds of testimonials for skin healing applications. i've never tried it though. what kind do you use?

so i made eyeliner by mixing activated charcoal with sweet almond oil (it's what i have atm). it works! tho i'm an idiot with makeup lol so it's hard enough for me to apply makeup, let alone a 'liquid' eyeliner. so my first eye looks like a 5 year old did it and my second eye came out much much better! i'm going to use this from now on :D

« on: June 11, 2013, 01:14:52 pm »
i want a routine that will keep me strong and free of injuries without added size (i'm female :P).  i judge my strength by how many pullups i can (or can't) do. the most pullups i've ever been able to do were during my high school years. i wasn't lifting then (started in college), i was just swimming and my body type was more slender (as opposed to some swimmers who are 'hulga' types :D). also, my weight hasn't changed since high school, but incorporating weight training does not help me with pull up abilities. only doing pull ups seems to help with that. so which one is strength? to me it's pull ups, so i want to get back to being able to do them.

so ck's routine is really interesting me. but how many and for how long and how often? anything i can read?

just about everyone is more knowledgeable than me when it comes to this stuff, so all input and advice welcomed!

thanks :)

If you are consuming factory bananas, such as cavendish, you must know they are full of chemicals and herbicides and pesticides and everything they can pump into them.

even organic ones?

SVRN, how does lots of raw dairy prevent it? That is a new one to me... most people break out from dairy (also which exact dairy products do you consume??)

same question to SVRN

9-10pm, wake 5-6am. i had no idea so many people would respond like that, i thought i needed too much :D  i need my 8-9 hours of sleep, but i really wish i were one of those people who needed half that!  on workout days, it's got to be 9 hours.

I was a (cooked) vege for years and did not have a lot of issues, mainly because I was following an Ayurvedic regimen. However when I switched to raw Primal, my semi-regular dental issues evaporated and I can tolerate a wide range of foods that were not possible.

Also I discovered. from a Trad. Chinese Doctor that the vege deal was causing me to have liver issues. I knew I had a weak liver because my Ay. Doc (Vaidya) told me about it from my pulse. He suggested herbs. However the ultimate cure for the liver issue was using a Rife machine. Took a few hours and no more problem.

I was raw primal when I saw the TCM Doctor so it isn't a given the raw foods will magically fix anything.

The liver is not something you can tell it is out of whack, you must have some kind of diagnosis. At first my Vaidya friend told me and then the TCM guy confirmed it and when I had a blood test the Alinine Transaminase was 71. (normal 12 - 49) After running the Rife device http://www.rifemedic.co.za/products.html  RM5 I retested and it went down to 40.

do own a rife machine? and you bought it from this website?  from what i understand, there are lots of phony rife's out there, how do you even know what's real?

ah, thanks van! i tried the clay on my hair, but it feels like it won't come out. it's not soft, it's gritty, but it looks as it normally does. i'll try rinsing with distilled water!

We dehydrate it in the fridge on a metal rack. That is a very nice way to do it. Lots of threads on making jerky.

i started eating raw meat by cutting it up into small pieces and eating it will poached eggs. i'd only eat a few pieces, and i would dip the meat into the egg yolk.  i topped the whole thing with loads of herbamare (a salt blend). it took me three weeks to ditch the herbamare and actually start like the meat raw. it helps if the meat is room temperature when you eat it. a dehydrator might help too.

i eat liver, but i found a way to make it tasty for me. i cut it up into little pieces and dehydrate it at 85 F for half the day or so. i've yet to eat any organs straight up and fresh.

what brand of supplement do you use?

what got you to consider magnesium in the first place?  i think it's great you found your way! sounds like you're beating yourself up, but you should be proud of yourself for finding your way!!
