Health / Your Body Temperature? Metabolism?
« on: September 23, 2010, 10:02:32 am »
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq9Ppl8gZ-U

So this Matt Stone guy hammers on metabolism and body temperature.
Ideal body temp is 37 degrees celcius?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_human_body_temperature

A cooked zero carb blogger experiences low body temperature and is corrected by going on high everything diet.  He says he has to eat crow now.

I'm thinking, how are we raw paleo dieters doing at this metabolism game?

How are you doing with this body temp thing?

Have you taken body temp readings?

Just wondering how this allegedly low metabolism for cooked low carb diets affect raw paleos.

I do know the use of raising metabolism / body temp for healing sick people, even on cooked, as used by my friend and cancer healer Vander Gaditano.

Check it out guys,

It is high time the time scales were revised!
65 million years ago is BS.
Mummified with everything intact for 65 million years is BS.
Quantavolution to the rescue.

National Geographic features a mummified dinosaur.
Yep.  With skin and muscles.
They will probably reach the skull and the stomach later on with their analysis.

General Discussion / Raw Meat Diet for Dogs
« on: September 16, 2010, 04:36:47 pm »
Let's begin with the video:

 AnimalRescuer268  |   November 25, 2009

My dog Zodiac on a raw food diet. He is eating some of his raw turkey. I do not usually feed so much meat, but its Thanksgiving, and he wanted something too :)
For anyone interested in this diet: This is the best your pet can get, natural, healthy, flavorful and very good for pets with dental problems. Ever since Zodi was started on the diet, he has been free of any health problems (fleas, hotspots, worms, infections ect). If you worry about parasites/bacteria, dogs and cats can handle these (even newly weaned puppies and kittens, all my feral kittens have been raised on this diet) they have been fine for thousands of years on this diet. Commercial (canned/dry kibbles) pet food has only been around for 60 years, and how did the dogs and cats survive before these? Raw meat and scraps. So if they were fine then, they will be fine now, I have talked to many experts, who claim that it can take up to a million years to change a species diet so dratically (from healthy meat, bone and organ to 80% grain) Commercial pet food causes VERY bad reactions in pets because most of them have preservatives that have been banned in people food because they caused tumors, birth defects, allergies, liver/heart failures and other bad things.. Some of them even have euthanized animals, yes it has been found by Ann Martin (author of food pets die for)that tons (literally) or euthanized pets go to rendering plants (where pet food is made). If any of these are found in your pet food, chances are your pet is eating its own kind: "meat by-products", "meat and bone meal", "meat meal" "meat trimmings". Corn, which is a main ingredient in most pet foods, is an allergy trigger in many cats and dogs and is not needed, and has been found to cause seizures. It is used as a cheap filler.
Many vets are inexperienced with animal nutrition, and will recommend the wrong food because of lack of knowledge. Others recommend commercial pet food because they gain money (they usually sell the food, and can get up to 40% of the profits made). Sometimes they are ever bribed to recommend pet foods. But on with feeding raw.
This diet is about 90% meat and bones and the rest is organs, (only about one to two times a week add vegetables)vegetables, fruits (for dogs) For cats the diet is 90% meat and small/crushed bones (most of the time cats need to be trained to eat bone, start off with crushed bones, I use a clean hammer) and 10% organs. Do not bother adding grain or dairy, for pets do not need these and cannot use them, and they cause harm to the body. For energy dogs and cats use fats from animals. If you worry about exact nutrition, please don't, when you make dinner for you or your family you don't say "I need Xcups salad, Xcups beef, Xcups beans and three multi-vitamin supplements." so why stress about your pet? As said earlier, before commercial pet food, no one fed a strict diet, and ther pets were much healthier than most today! (according to "Cat Fancy" magazine, the oldest cat they heard of was (believed to be) 29, and lived off of birds and mice. The oldest dog ever recorded was "Bluey" a blue heeler cross who lived in Australia before pet food was invented and ate raw kangaroo meat, bones and organs). Dont worry. I listed some recipes below.
Chicken Dinner (for a 30-40 lb dog)
1 pound chicken (with bone)
1 egg
1 tbsp vegetables

Beef and Sardine
1/2 pound beef (with bone)
4 fresh wild sardines
1 tbsp berries

Lamb Breakfast
Lamb necks
2 grape tomatoes
1 egg

Whole Rabbit
whole rabbit (with or without fur)
with organs intact

Whole chicken
small or large chicken w/ included organs
1 tsp fresh berries or herbs

CATS:
1-2 chicken wings
a slice of liver

OR

Chicken Frying parts with bone
heart

The price of the diet is quite cheap, I usually pay 3-13$ a week to feed 6 cats, and 10-23$ a month to feed a 40lb dog. (I usually get the "On sale" meats, which is just as good as fresh.

Here are the best websites i have come across:
www.rawlearning.com
www.rawfed.com (probably the best)
www.rawfeddogs.com
www.rawfedcats.com
My website has most of the information of these websites and much more, I am still working on it, and hope to get it running soon! Please, I am very happy to answer ANY questions!

Here is also a list of bad pet food brands:
Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Nutro max, Goodlife recipe, Science Diet, Prescription Diet, Gravy train, alpo, amore, Pedigree, Natures Recipe, Bil jac, royal canin, ect

Hope Every one has a happy Thanksgiving!

Off Topic / Dengue Fever Treatment Plan eBook
« on: September 07, 2010, 07:56:40 pm »
Dengue Fever is at an all time high in my country.

Might as well do some service and promote dengue fever cures via ebook.
I have the supporting website at http://www.denguecure.com that tells all.
But now my new ebook is more detailed with lots of pictures so the sick and frightened don't make mistakes.

http://www.e-junkie.com/curemanuals/product/439332.php

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is known to cause death when it gets to the
bleeding stage. Dengue Fever can potentially kill any person if untreated.  Blood health is monitored via platelet counts.  The administration of freshly picked Tawa Tawa tea along with a sane holistic treatment plan for nutrition and detox will exponentially increase the sick's chances of getting well from Dengue Fever and increase blood platelet count within 24 to 48 hours.  Hundreds of people have posted and emailed their unsolicited testimonies about the effectiveness of Tawa Tawa tea because they would like to share their success with you.

This book contains pictures of the Tawa Tawa weed, where you can find them, and the exact procedures in photos to make sure you do the Tawa Tawa tea the right way.

Dengue fever is spreading to more countries.  So those who are still unfamiliar with Dengue fever may benefit from this bit of Filipino knowledge.

i was sick for 3 days already so i decided to go to the hospital for checkup. the doctor asked me
to have a cbc and the result showed that my platelet count was below normal. the normal is
150,000 to 450,000 and mine was 140,000. we were already worried and hope that it is not
dengue. aside from the paracetamol, all we can do was to wait for another couple of days to
observe for symptoms of dengue and have a cbc again. i searched the web and found out about
this site and tawa-tawa leaves. i immediately called NHA and looked for Ms. Portia. she was
very nice and very accommodating on the phone and even consoled me because i was really
worried. the next day, we went to NHA and she gave us tawa-tawa leaves. i started drinking the
tawa-tawa tea then have a cbc test again the following day but the results were still low, my
platelet count dropped to 139,000 and white blood cell count and others also dropped below
normal levels. the doctor advised us to have a retest the following day and i just continued
drinking the tea. i was very anxious and have a retest the following day. to our surprise my
platelet count rose to 380,000 and the white blood cells, etc became normal. it was indeed a
miracle. i don’t know how that happened but i know that the tawa-tawa and the prayers helped
me. thanks! God is good. Keep the faith!

Let's just imagine we can have a global raw paleo party.
We can all fly in as we are all loaded with money.
What would you bring to our Raw Paleo party?

386
A couple of people decided they would do an initial medical study to see how well the cooked paleo diet fared versus the conventional SWEDISH diabetes diet. Obviously, paleo diet is better. Even if cooked. Just imagine if they did a raw paleo diet study. But as you and I know, there will be no more money for future studies because studies are meant to sell drugs and drugs alone. So be happy something like this conclusion has come out:

Based on the results of this 3-month randomized cross-over study in subjects with type 2 diabetes, a Paleolithic diet improves glycemic control in association with improvement of several cardiovascular risk factors compared to a conventional diabetes diet. The study supports the initiation of a large scale study on the effect of Paleolithic diet in subjects with type 2 diabetes.

That is it. Be content with the thousands of testimonials on the internet about how great the paleo diet is. If you want even more health, try raw paleo diet. What I can tell you is great health is so satisfying you do not want to go back. Back to what? Mediocre health?

Health / Feeding Bacteria and Enzymes to Livestock does wonders
« on: September 02, 2010, 09:59:57 am »
I got this from Grzbear at curezone.com when we were discussing about bacteria cure for IBS:

Quote
Though friendly bacteria and cultures fight off infection and facilitate quicker healing.

Man... have we been indoctrinated, brainwashed, and dished a whole bunch of d@mn lies over the last century or so through our educational system and advertising... the depth of these lies is unfathomable at times even to me.

When I discovered a few years back that bacteria was used in animal husbandry and medicine BEFORE antibiotics for the same purpose with better success, and virtually no side effects... not to mention affordably, I dropped jaw.

It >>IS<< all about the money honey.

Here is a company that sells fermented feeds:
https://www.enzion.com/products/cattle/feeding-bacteria-enzymes

Quote
FEEDING BACTERIA AND ENZYMES USING CENTURY HILL INDUSTRIES YEAST CULTURES

CENTURY HILL INDUSTRIES YEAST CULTURES are designed to supply the necessary nutrients to feed protozoa, bacteria, and enzymes in the animals digestive system. They are also made to lower and maintain the systems pH.

CENTURY HILL INDUSTRIES YEAST CULTURES are prepared in a much different manner than most yeast products being marketed today. When making CENTURY HILL INDUSTRIES B2000 we use a mixture of yeast, vitamins, minerals, malt liquor, molasses, sugar, and other ingredients which are cultured on wheat bran, ground wheat, barley, oats, and corn. In the final formula we include normal feed grain ingredients such as oats, barley, corn, milo, and soybean meal, all of which have been fermented in such a manner to create their own natural enzymes. (These ingredients are found in feed rations for most all types of animals), but seldom in a fermented form. After the culture process is completed, the mixture is dried, using a method which preserves the fermenting activity of the yeast culture.

We also manufacture CENTURY HILL INDUSTRIES B2000 PLUS which contains fermented whey solids. These solids use a special bacteria to produce a type of lactic acid that has a low pH. This ingredient also contains 14 amino acids and 13 vitamins plus helps adjust the pH of the animals digestive system when high energy, high fat feeds are being fed. The lower pH helps reduce growth of foodborn pathogens such as salmonella and e-coli, and also helps stimulate enzyme production to neutralize soybean meal often found in the animals diet. Other ingredients formulated in CENTURY HILL INDUSTRIES B2000 PLUS are for the control of the negative effects which often result when feeds or their ingredients are contaminated with mycotoxins.

Under normal conditions it takes the animals system about 72 hours to produce enzymes. When stress occurs, equilibrium of the microbes is upset. However, when you are feeding CENTURY HILL INDUSTRIES B2000 OR B2000 PLUS, you are providing food for the bacteria and enzymes which helps the animals gut to stabilize very quickly, when these stress situations occur, as well as keeping the microbes viable under normal conditions. Often times we see a change in stool when the products are first used. This effect is the result of more protein and vital nutrients being made available for absorption through the gut wall. Do not be alarmed. This is a very positive result for example in pregnant sows where constipation is often a problem. Results we often see are--

Feedlot cattle get on full feed quicker. Better feed utilization of feed.
Less fiber in manure of dairy and beef animals.
Whole corn kernels are hollow, the inside has been digested.
Increased milk production in dairy and beef cows.
Quicker response to antibiotic treatments which often are harmful to gut microbes.
Quicker response to dewormers which are often harmful to gut microbes.
Improved bone development especially in younger animals, calves, pigs, foals, etc.
Reduced death loss in poultry as well as higher egg production.
Reduced disease and it’s negative effects in all species.
Improved feed conversions and rates of gain.
Healthier looking animals which are prepared to fight off stress.

Japan pension probe finds five-year-old corpse at home

Agence France-Presse

Filed Under: Wages & Pensions, Crime, Senior Citizens

TOKYO—A 58-year-old woman has admitted to keeping her father's corpse hidden at home for five years, in Japan's latest case of suspected pension fraud, local media reported Wednesday.

The man's decomposing body was discovered after a welfare official visited a home in Izumi, near Osaka, in western Japan, as part of a nationwide search to verify the whereabouts of elderly people, the reports said.

The reports did not say whether the woman, who was not named, had been arrested or charged but public broadcaster NHK quoted her admitting to police that she had hidden the body.

"I found my father dead in his bed about five years ago when I returned home. I hid the body in a bag when it started decomposing after I left it as it was," NHK quoted the woman as telling police.

The woman's father was named as Asakichi Miyata, a former banker who was believed to have been paid a pension which his daughter continued to receive, Kyodo news agency reported, quoting city and police officials.

Osaka police were not immediately available to confirm the reports.

The welfare official had visited Miyata's house as part of a nationwide drive for face-to-face meetings with Japan's elderly after the discovery of a 30-year-old, mummified body of a man thought to have been alive at 111.

Tokyo police arrested the man's daughter, 81, and granddaughter, 53, last Friday on suspicion of receiving his pension payments, worth nine million yen (106,000 US dollars).

That case has prompted officials to check on hundreds of aged people, especially centenarians, listed as still alive in Japanese official records.

So far about 200 centenarians have been found to be missing from places where they were last registered.

In another case, the remains of a Tokyo woman believed to be 104 were found stuffed into her son's backpack, where they had been for more than a decade.

It seems my wife has recovered somewhat from her B12 vitamin deficiency. She said she is 95% up, but at the same time she thought about it and she did go to the gym today, so that must be a good sign. I make sure she gets a daily dose of either raw liver or raw clams. This lunch she had some seared liver. But this dinner time I made raw beef liver pate by blending raw beef liver with red onions. I noticed she likes raw liver pate and she can eat a lot of it too. Noticed she likes raw beef liver than clams. But I’ll go ahead and buy clams tomorrow just so there’s no monotony.

The children were commenting at the dinner table while their mom was happily eating the raw liver pate that she has turned over to the raw side just like daddy… and rightly so, she’s well now isn’t she? And it’s not the B12 shot that will sustain her, it is a change to a better diet with raw organ meat. Today I fed the children quite a lot of liver. This morning some liver ceviche, this evening 1 cube each of raw liver and a teaspoon of raw beef liver pate.

Add to those raw organs my wife has been eating, I’ve been diligent in giving her raw bone marrow almost every day. My technique is to boil the beef bones in a large pot. That soup is served hot, then the raw bone marrow which has been saved in the refrigerator is defrosted in her hot soup which she likes eating. Well, it is probably a little cooked in the soup, but we healers need to compromise.

Yesterday Sunday I was in Tagaytay at the Mahogany market, home of the famous Batangas beef and I found the most gorgeous raw beef liver. Had that raw beef liver with the raw meat for breakfast yesterday with fellow raw paleo dieter E. Top quality liver. Thanks beef!

What I have noticed with my diligent serving of raw liver and clams is that I am energized as well. I just keep going and going and going. Seems that info in nutritiondata.self.com about B12 content is true. B12 vitamins are abundant in organs and whole animals. So eat small fish like dilis, or dulong, or clams, or oysters and liver and kidneys. My wife does not like kidneys so I’ve shelved that for now. She did eat dulong seared with scrambled egg one day. I had raw dulong with raw duck egg. Delicious.

My recent experience with B12 supplementing with real food is “eat some raw organ meat daily and let the energy flow!”

Personals / Yon and GS meet up - you should too!
« on: August 22, 2010, 09:48:42 pm »
Eric (Yon) and Edwin (GS) met up in Manila and went places.

Yon got sick really bad from eating roast pig while in Palawan so I had to use all my healing powers on him plus we consulted our anthroposophic doctor.

So it seems in this case when traveling, try to stick to raw as it is cooked food that is dangerous.

Meeting up with a fellow raw paleo dieter was a great experience, we are like this lost tribe.  And you get to communicate so much more in person.

Eric flies to Bangkok tomorrow.  He might go back to the USA or he may go to another country.   He's still deciding.

We (me and my fellow raw paleo dieter friend E) checked out of the hotel in Tagaytay city and looked for the wet market. The locals pointed us to Mahogany Wet Market. Little did we know that Mahogany Market was the home of the famous Batangas beef! Alright, we hit the jackpot! In one building all around at 7am Sunday were full quarters of freshly slaughtered beef! So fresh their muscles were still twitching!

I noticed that most of the beef there were not as fatty as the beef we had in Farmers market Cubao, Quezon City, this was a different species. We did find a fatty beef quarter and I ordered 2 kilos of that top round part with whitish fat but very good tasting fat. With this species of beef here we found from the butchers that the yellowish with dark muscles were female and that the paler meats were male. We wound up buying a total of 4 kilos of beef muscle and fat. Then we also found some truly awesome clean healthy raw beef liver. Just what my wife and kids need for their B12 vitamins.

On to breakfast. We parked the car beside some tables for rent overlooking Taal Lake. First we had some raw beef liver. Very good, very clean. Then we had some muscle and fat. Yummy. I found this beef muscle very tender and very very tasty. Reminds me of those old beef soups made during my cooked meat years, tastes exactly like that but raw and fresh and bloody. No utensils, just plain old hands and teeth, the beef part we got was tender and you do know that raw beef is generally tender.

I’m convinced Tagaytay City is a viable place to live in. Lots of fruit, fish and freshly slaughtered famous Batangas beef! Very good nutrition plus cool climate and we have a winning combination of factors!

See photo gallery of 9 pictures:

My 6 Favorite FAT Lies
By Alan Graham
With Alfred Lehmberg
AlienView.net
8-19-10

Rank individuals such as myself, apart from being negatively individualistic, are as a mote among many similarly effected motes.

Individually though, still, we are at the whim and sway of powerful forces-governments, institutions, and agencies-who would serve interests seemingly not in the best interest of the individuals aforementioned. These governments, institutions, or agencies, and betraying the trust extended to them, lie with sincerity in a campaign to support the few against the many. Six of the lies told -by what is expected to be an official authority presumed to be the competent steward of a trusting public-concerns the affects and effects, good and bad, of dietary fat on the human body.

To wit: the following 6 distortions concerning fats & oils are indorsed and perpetuated by the highest echelon of nutritional science and government "watchdogs" - like the FDA.

Here are the 6 incredulously bold misstatements, prevarications, and outright lies addressed in turn:

1.. Saturated fat is bad.
2.. Unsaturated vegetable oil is good.
3.. Trans-fatty acids are now considered as bad as saturated fat.
4.. Margarine is more healthful than butter.
5.. Coconut oil is bad.
6.. MonoUnsat. Canola oil is better than MonoUnsat. olive oil.

1.. Saturated fat (SatFat) is "bad"? How can that be, reader, when SatFat is your body's material of choice for the majority of fat's very synergistic and necessary physiological "jobs." Indeed, the only SatFat remotely bad for you is oxidized fat damaged as a result of high heat, lengthy air exposure, or food processing.

Consider. If undamaged SatFat was heart unhealthy there would be a lot of dead Blubber-Eating Eskimos riddled with heart and vascular disease... when in fact they have lowest incidence of heart disease on the planet! SatFat's not bad for them!

What does "saturated" mean? "Saturated" means every available space on the long carbon chain of the garden variety fat molecule is filled with 2 hydrogen atoms. This results in no empty spaces meaning, magnetically, the chains stay straight allowing them to pack closely together. This, of course, results in fat which is solid at room temp. The "no-empty spaces" also means SatFat has no unpaired electrons so it is a very stable fat molecule, thus resisting oxidation. This resistance to oxidation is one of the big reasons nature prefers it and your body likes it.

Every food-oil, by the way, has a small percentage of SatFat (from about 6 to 18%); however, never let a low satfat percentage be a selling point for you - as is touted regarding Canola & other oils!
This is generally because these SatFats found in food oil are pure & undamaged. "Pure and undamaged" is what's good for you.

2.. Unsaturated vegetable oil is good? Look, reader, "Unsaturated" means one or more pairs of electrons are missing! This creates a hyper-sensitive Double-Bond (DB) at each missing site and comes in 2 types, MONOunsaturated (one DB) & POLYunsaturated oils (2 or more DB's). Dieticians continually tell us both MonoUnsat. & PolyUnsat. oils are good for us, sort of implying that any fat that is a beautiful liquid oil at room temp will flow through your veins easily, preventing any heart disease..."unlike that evil solid SatFat which clogs your veins..." Not !

What a crock! MonoUnsat oils, like Olive oil, are heart healthful because with just one (mono) pair of missing hydrogen atoms (one DB), there are no unpaired electrons... resulting in a stable oil that resists oxidation. This kind of oil requires no refrigeration or additional processing to remove the rancid smell after the heat of pressing, as is required with PolyUnsat Oils! These oxidize -go bad- readily.

You see, with a Poly oil-more than one double bond-there IS an unpaired electron, so, unstable, it goes rancid due to the heat of pressing... thus requiring the oil be RBDed (refined, bleached & deodorized). This hi-heat process destroys the oil leaving it "fresh-smelling" but teaming with cancer-causing, heart-stopping lipid-peroxide. The prestigious medical journal, Lancet, in 1994 reported that 75% of the stuff clogging your arteries was oxidized UnSat. food oils...not the the healthful, beneficial, and unjustly maligned Cholesterol. That rattles your box-seats, eh? How is it that our official authorities don't know this?

...And the unsettling answer, reader, is that they MUST!

MonoUnsat. oil (Omega-9), with one DB, will cause the chain to bend a little bit due to electrical attraction, resulting in a liquid at room temp; however, if you put it in the fridge you can see it get milky looking because the satfat is solidifying. That is why all Mono food oils come from a band around the Earth with milder climates - like Olive oil from the Mediterranean & Macadamia Nut oil from Hawaii.

PolyUnsat. FOOD-oil (Omega-6) with two DB's will cause the chain to bend even more, so the satfat, unable to pack tightly, will not solidify in the fridge but will turn solid in the freezer. It also means there is an unpaired electron, so Omega-6 Poly-oils go rancid easily. Poly-oil comes from colder places like with Soy & Canola fromCanada & Russia.

However, there is one kind of Poly-oil (Omega-3) that is very heart-healthy because it is processed under expensive refrigeration to avoid oxidation. I'm talking about the very unstable but magical Medicinal Oils like fish oil & krill oil. These oils are missing anywhere from 3 to 6 pairs of electrons so they are really bent somewhat like a pretzel and will not solidify, even in the freezer!
These sensitive fatty-acids (FA's) are used to keep the blood flowing in arctic cold-water fish... so, conversely, fish from the tropics have very little Omega-3.

So MonoUnsat FOOD oil & PolyUnsat MEDICINAL oils are good for you <<BUT>> PolyUnsat. FOOD oil is decidedly NOT. These include food-oils like Corn, Soy, Grapeseed, Safflower, Sunflower, Cottonseed, and others. I put Canola in this Poly category even though it has 54% Mono-oil. This is because the significant feature of the oil is that it is 35% poly-oil and the poly-oil requires RBDing! This is the thing killing you... so let's just go ahead and call it a Poly-oil. They can sue me!

3.. Transfatty acids are now considered as bad as saturated fat?
What foul and psychopathic hubris is this? Within the last few years TransFat from pHVO (partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil) has finally been exposed as a disease-causing, manmade, solid fake-fat that it is. Consequently you now hear brain-dead dieticians say that TransFat is as bad as SatFat. This is a stupid, backward, nonsensical thing to say because undamaged SatFat is not bad -far from it- they just tried to make you think it's bad. Howsoever, TransFat has always been an abomination even though the public, until just recently, was manipulated to believe it wasn't.

Electrically and chemically wrong, TransFat is a fat mimic easily incorporated into the cell-wall of every cell in your body with the potential to cause or exacerbate virtually every disease because it is the wrong building material. The best way to correct this mechanism of slow and suffering death is by replacing TransFat with undamaged SatFat & Omega-3 fats like in Fish oil.

4.. Margarine is more healthful than butter? C'mon! Butter is the classic undamaged and healthful SatFat! It contains arcane medium & short-chained fatty-acids which are powerful anti-oxidants which reduce inflammation. Margarine, on the other hand, is naught but disease-causing TransFat! The authorities mislead you by saying that butter has more SatFat than margarine - but what they don't tell you is that butter has healthful SatFat but margarine has Unhealthful, manmade "SatFat" in the form of TransFat... so comparing SatFat & TransFat on equal footing is like the ever compared classics of "apples & oranges," where the oranges poison you! They don't compute.

5.. Coconut Oil is bad because it is a solid SatFat? Where this unctuous unawareness is not a turgid, senseless, and ignorant misstatement it is suspicious to the point of buggered credulity!
OK, Coconut oil will solidify below 76 degrees; however, in your body & in the tropics it flows just fine... in fact BETTER than just fine! Dip your thumb & index finger in CCnut oil that is above 76 degrees & then rub them together...it will feel velvety thin and slicker than the most highly refined machine oil.

This is because CCnut oil is not a long-chain fatty-acid like most food oil (18 atoms long) - it is a magical MCT (Medium Chain Triglyceride) only 12 to 14 atoms long! This means it can be metabolized with just saliva & stomach-acid, not requiring scarce resources in the form of digestive enzymes as are required with long-chainfatty acids.

CCnut oil or MCT's are found in mother's milk & in every baby formula made. This is because babies have very underdeveloped "Desaturase Enzyme Systems" making it difficult to metabolize long-chain FA's... but with MCT's it zips right through to the energy producing mitochondria to give the baby the front row heat & energy required to grow and mature. With adults it provides instant energy through "Thermogenesis" which actually "burns-up" long chain FA's to help you lose weight. It's great for Low-thyroid folks with cold feet & hands.

Because CCnut oil is from the tropics it contains numerous very special anti-oxidants to protect it from the heat, consequently it will stay good at room temp for 4 or 5 years. When consumed that same anti-oxidant protection goes on in your body.

Bottom line, CCnut oil is one of Mother-Natures most perfectly magical foods! The doctors and dieticians who know the truth BUT tell you it is unhealthy because it is a saturated fat will likely wind up "Butt-surfing" on the "Lake of Fire" in that hell imagined for them.

Why lie? Why, to protect the evil "partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil" industry & the North American (Canada & the US) polyunsat oil industry... corn, soy & Canola. You see, CCnut Oil comes from the Philippines & Olive oil comes from the Mediterranean... gotta keep out them damn foreign products, eh?

6.. MonoUnsat. Canola oil is better than MonoUnsat. olive oil?
Pause for giggles so extreme this writer is in danger of soiling himself. Let's expand this lie into 3 subset lies! See, all the good things folks say about Canola oil (CO)... wait for it... are actually BAD things:

(a). CO is MonoUnsat just like Olive oil? Well, no it's not... Olive oil has a very high percentage of Mono at 76%, so with 16% SatFat there is only room left for a negligible amount of unhealthful Poly - at only 8%. Also, coming from a soft, easily pressed fruit there is NO RBDing required. Conversely, CO only has 56% Mono coupled with only 8% SatFat! This leaves a fairly large percentage of Poly at 30 to 35%! With the higher heat of pressing a hard seed, the oil requires RBDing to remove the rancid smell of what now amounts to dead, non nutritious, and unhealthful oil.

(b). CO has 8% healthful Omega-3 where Olive oil has NO Omega-3?
Well yes, but think about how silly this is. See, if the heat of pressing will cause the "regular" Poly portion (with 2 DB's) to go rancid due to high heat, the Omega-3 with 3 DB's will be the very first fatty-acid to go BAD. Remember from above, with the increase of each DB the sensitivity to damage goes up not by a factor of one but exponentially by a factor of 7 or 8.

(c). CO only has 8% SatFat so it is better than Olive oil at 16%?
No! Canola Oil would be a better oil if it also had 16% SatFat because the satfat in non-RBDed oil is good for you, so if there were more of it, it would replace the stuff that is bad... some of that 35% Polyunsat crap.

Again, bottom line, Canola oil is a sham to replace olive oil & keep money in the US & Canada. Yes, keeps the money but puts their charge at risk! That's the long and tall of one duplicitous corpocracy, eh?

So where are we? Government, Institution, and Agency stridently betray a public trust to degrade our drinking water, foul our food larder, poison our food production, and then presume upon our educational systems to promulgate egregious lies with regard to healthful information regarding these things.

This writer only offers that more useful information is still available, even in this day and age. Drop me a note and, no strings attached? I'll tell you where you might look.

US Butchers Required by Law to Age Meat?

Yon Yonson is here with me and he says that US Butchers Required by Law to Age Meat?
Something like 20 days?
Before selling it publicly?
Is this true for all in the US?

How about other countries?

Healthy fresh organic beef or better yet calf liver is one of those ultra high nutrition foods out there.  We are talking B12 vitamin content to the max over and above any muscle meat.  We are talking about anemia cure, cancer cure, malnutrition cures, you name it, raw calf liver is the tops.  The availability is low and the demand for calf liver is high.  But mature beef liver will do as well, just choose the bright red healthy looking livers… you have the power to choose, do not get brown muddy spent livers, yuck.

So why make liver pate?  Well, the modern urban human is just so far removed from his natural humanity he has forgotten how precious raw liver is and fails to appreciate a freshly killed animal’s liver.  His idea of liver pate comes from a can full of chemicals, preservatives and flavorings and is spread on junk food crackers or junk food bread.  So we make raw liver pate to somewhat simulate that texture and taste.

How to make raw liver pate.

Dice your raw organic liver.
Chop your red onion.
Put in blender.  Blend for a few seconds.
Put in bowl.
Add salt and pepper – optional.

Now wasn’t that quick and easy?  I give this to my children as vitamins.  My wife too.  B12 deficiencies begone!  Cancer, malnutrition, anemia?  These are the best vitamins baby… no store bought supplement can match this amount of power.

Hot Topics / Are cooked vegetables all that bad?
« on: August 14, 2010, 08:38:56 pm »
I haven't explored this topic yet.
What I do know is there are some veggies I can eat raw.
And that there are some veggies that can only be eaten when cooked.

So for those vegetables that can only be eaten cooked.  Are they bad for your health?
Any research, opinions welcome.

Let's list the reasons why we need to consume organs or whole animals including their organs.

Sample of small animals are shrimps, small fish, clams, oysters, squid, etc.

Sample of organs from bigger animals are brain, kidneys, liver, pancreas, etc.

You can also discuss your opinions in detail, which organs are good and not good and why.

-------------------

My contribution is I just found out from nutritiondata.self.com that vitamin B12 is intensely abundant in these organ meats and whole animals and not much else in muscle meat.

Oysters and Clams and Liver all have an intensely high amount of B12 in just a few ounces.

Yo Matt Stone and buddies.

I've read the new ebook you posted and found it interesting.
http://www.180degreehealth.com/

Two questions:

#1 - Is having a high metabolism always a good thing?  When is it good and when is it not?  Should we always be on high metabolism?  Or should we just switch it to high at times and keep it low normally?  Does high metabolism shorten life?  Burn hot and bright and burn out young?  Please explain.

#2 - How to execute a high everything diet with raw paleo food?

I know how to eat lots of raw meat and raw fat, juice veggies, and what about fruit?  No fructose right?  So what do we use for the high amounts of carbs?  Can I use starchy bananas?  Which fruit can give high carbs but not fructose?
