Speaking of geese. I just heard some geese fly by. Those things should be gone I would think.

I shall see...

227
Heat some fat, then strain it. See what color it is when it solidifies.

228
Also Lex menioned that the suet he gets looks yellowish white. But when you render and strain it, the rendered fat will be yellow. Not the case with grain fed fat, it will be white. He sent me some rendered fat once, pure yellow.

It can be a way to test the quality of your fat. All grain fed meat when rendered and strained should be white frsh, white when rendered.

Grass fed should be yellow when rendered.

229
Who knows. I had wild goose that I killed myself. More yellow fat than all the grass fed meats I have ever bought.

All the geese were doing was grazing on grasses.

Best meat I ever had.

Fruit juices and blended fruits or ground foods can be useful for those with teeth issues. Or missing teeth. Or infants, meat, liver, organs blended  with water can be a good alternative if breast milk is not availible. Juices can be useful.

I only tried carrot juice for veggies. Apple juice is tasty too. A big mess though and expensive, it's my mom's juicer. Carrot juice can be worth it as a treat, very sweet. All better as a whole food as Tyler mentioned though.

They shouldn't go bad. I used a dehydrator yeah. One of those plug in curcular ones. Lex's dehydrator can be used too.

I dried many things at the temp with no problem.

So the roe are salted?
You can get unsalted fresh roe?

Dry them without salt. I dried salmon without salt under 105 degress F. Its really good.

Hey Sully

Nah love summer, over 30 degrees suits me with warm nights. I hate wearing shirts and shoes so in the warm I can just get round in shorts.

Never had snow here. Way to warm, it may get down to zero degrees at night once a year maybe.

Inuit boots,  you should make some or buy some Ugg boots and modify them?
Yeah I got some pretty good boots. I want to modify some sneakers so they don't squish and eform my toes any further.

BTW Yeah not worth going off diet. I always wondered how our ancestors felt, after going pretty much zero carb in winter then eating fruit when it was in plenty. I know fruit helps cool the body in summer but they must have felt something or perhaps the seasonal chnagedallowed them to adapt slowly to the diffreent foods availible.

Even jackie Chans hollywood movies aren't very good. Chan says it himself, he doesn't like filming here.

Ha ha, thats why I always read a bunch of reviews before wasting my time on a movie.
Jackie Chan is one of my faves...funny and awesome, and hot too!

If you guys wanna see a serious sci-fi type of movie "Moon" is very recent one but very good, both acting and story, very good. Unlike most recent crap. I saw it a little while ago and was pleasantly surprised.
Thank god my friend payed that 2 bucks for me :)
I can't stand much of anything nowadays.

SAW 7 (3d) or whatever. Didn't see the 3d version. Been a while since I been to the theatre.

Saw it in the budget theatre. From start to beginning it was just showing torture and killing scenes. I don't get squimish and that just grossed me out. I guess it was nothing but torture scenes for the 3d version to be spiced up. Worst movies I ever saw.

Sometimes I couldn't look at the screen, and I am not squimish. So you know that shit was gross. The guy glued to the car sea was the worst. His skin was ripping off...i don't know. Some sick shit.

Sounds like you got a good source. How do you like the fats of red meats?

Try suet, it is dry and took me no hurdle to get used to. I had a good batch of bison suet not too long ago, aroma was similar to grass fed butter. Marrow is another tasty fat for beginners.

One thing you can do to get used to it. Get some lean ground beef (about 95% lean), poor some olive oil on it, raw apple vinegar, and sprinkle some sea salt. Add a tad of honey (or to your measure) and chopped onions. Its the bomb and is good in social situations. I added greens to the mix at my sisters house. People would even admit, it looked delicous.

Edit: be sure to get cold pressed olive oil, ground meat works best because it absorbs and mixes flavors very well.

Sprinting can burn you out in the matter of seconds calling for an increased need for oxygen.

Sprinting jogging, biking, swimming. All to different.  ;)

It's true that they are two different sports.
But EXHAUSTION is comparable, if you like it or not. :)
Hannibal is making good points. They are different exercises, but if I were to run non-stop up a hill my fastest, exuastion would kick in much much quicker than riding a bike my fastest up the same incline.

Primal Diet / Re: Raw Meat Family Video

I don't know why insects aren't promoted more on the primal diet.  I guess it's uncivil.

    Nice shave.

Hmm yeah, insects sound tasty and a good food. Thanks, I just used a clippers, i don't like clean shaven with a razor. I did it just incase I won't be able to work with Yon on the farm in Oregon. I would need to be trimmed at least for a job interview or talking with managers of stores.

@KD Hahah Mac & Cheese. Nice man, that was hilarious.

Ground Beef, liver. Srpouts (clover and radish) grown in WI, organic lettuce, and Wisconsin Cranberries.

Ahh, so they could get insects in a good source. That's pretty interesting.

I don't see why the family eats a bunch of small meals a day. I don't feel good on that many meals. I saw a bucket of honey I think. So do the primal diet. Veggie juices, honey, dairy, eggs and meats.
