hey djr 81 I did not mean that I hated the kid, just dont like the fact that he posts anti raw paleo and primal videos and gets away with it. Is there something wrong with that? And yeah, I know what your talking about with gossip as a typical destructive human behavior, but that was not my intent. I am a newbie to this website and wanted to raise awareness of anti paleo/ primal people. Had I searched this forum before my post, I would have seen that there are already numerous posts about him and would not have posted mine. I can see from your point of view that I am new to this website, so what do I know about the material? My intent must be to make friends with others to fill my emptiness and loneliness right? And the only way to do that is to gang up on others as a bully. Dont judge too quick, I am aware of the use of my unkind words towards durianrider and the immaturity with it, but how is calling me a troll any less mature. Just saying. My intent with this forum is only to learn more and more from others while simultaneously giving my own advice and testimonies to others. To help and be helped.

Hot Topics / Masai blood drinking video
« on: May 19, 2010, 06:41:33 am »
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLI9cuQ2khA

this video shows how the masai regularly consume blood for nutrition. In Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, by weston price, he talks of how the masai diet consisted of only 3 foods: milk, meat, and blood, sometimes fruit when available. Price also talked of how immune they were to various diseases. The mosquitos were known to carry malaria and price and his followers covered themselves with repellent and garments so they wouldnt get bitten. Price talked of how the masai were immune to malaria and other local diseases. Very interesting and just goes how optimal this diet is for their health. Many of their warriors are well over six feet tall.

true and I'm with you with not wasting time on him. I just think it'd be funny to post a video of how annoying he is. Maybe a more constructive video would just be explaining the benefits of raw primal/paleo. Like some of the other members said, there aren't many raw paleo/primal videos on youtube and it would help to spread the word and give guidance to people.

Anyone know that guy durianrider on you tube who is a fruitarian and badmouths paleo , raw, and primal diets? Yeah he annoys the shit outta me with his "humans weren't meant to eat animals" and "killing animals is immoral". He's such a prick and thinks hes right about everything. But one thing we all know is vegan/ vegetarian/ fruitarian diets never last long term. You rarely see someone who's been on any of these diets for 15+ years because it is not possible to stay on. Not enough fat, protein and vital nutrients that are commonly found in meat. Tell me how it is so immoral to humanely kill an animal when veggies and vegans kill whole entire ecosystems that consist of millions of fungi and micro organisms every square centimeter. Agriculture is the downfall of any society in history, look it up for yourself. When the soil dies, we die. IDK the guy just pisses me off and I've been giving him negative comments all the time. He boasts about eating nothing but 70 bananas a day and tells how Aajonus is an asshole for eating meat raw.

You guys should all comment on this douche's videos and let him know whats up.

Primal Diet / Re: price of the primal diet:
« on: May 19, 2010, 01:49:09 am »
Yes they are my estimates not in the book. I buy ground beef for around $5 and organs for around $4 and eat both a day. I could definitely do animal fat and less butter, but why doesn't Aajonus recommend animal fat in his books. I could get suet and tallow from grasslandbeef.com for dirt cheap. I guess my question is: is raw animal fat just as good or better than raw butter? and how do you make it taste good without tampering with it? Thank you guys. I know I'm a newbie but I have always stuck with things I believe in and I def believe in this. After 2 weeks on the diet digestion is great and I dont even have to use toilet paper anymore, LOL...

Primal Diet / price of the primal diet:
« on: May 19, 2010, 01:27:28 am »
I come from a frugal family and am used to buying cheap food. I recently converted to the primal diet after a year on the paleo diet. Although I recieved increased health from paleo, my vitality was just not there. I searched for more answers and came to this. I am willing to spend a lot of money on the diet but it seems by Aajonus's recommendations in his books that the primal diet would cost nearly $20 a day. That is a lot of money. Does that estimate seem right or does anyone get their food cheaper?
2lb grassfed meat= $10
6 raw eggs=           $.75
1/2 stick raw butter= $5
2 cup raw milk       = $.80
celery/tomato/cilantro juice= $1
6 tblsp unheated honey = $.75

General Discussion / Eating the same cuts/organs every day?
« on: May 18, 2010, 02:39:23 am »
Is there anything wrong with eating the same organs/ cuts of meat every day. For example, I really like beef heart. Would it negatively affect me to eat heart most days. Or would a more varied diet be better with different cuts/ organs each day? Well I know a more varied approach would be better, but is there anything wrong with eating a certain organ every day? Thanks a lot...

General Discussion / Re: Anyone know where to get raw glands?

I checked northern bison and couldn't find thyroid and adrenals. How did you get them? After a year of adrenal exhaustion, I need to rejuvenate them. Thank you...

Over the past year or so, every time I come across some great knowledgeable people, I write them down for later reference. Most of these people have videos on youtube and oneradionetwork.com(which is an awesome site). I like these people because they tell it like it really is unlike big gov, pharma and agriculture, and the hilarious food pyramid. Here they are, if anyone has others they want to contribute please add to the list.

Carol alt, you know the famous supermodel came out with a book not too long ago that created a lot of attention for the raw food world, specifically meat eating. Her book is titled eating in the raw. Its mostly about how she cured her ailments with a doctor through eating raw veggies and meat. Very cool that she made raw much more acceptable/ popular.

General Discussion / Anyone know where to get raw glands?
« on: May 14, 2010, 03:34:53 am »
I have been looking for raw glands. I heard/ read info by Aajonus Vonderplanitz about how eating certain glands can cure gland related ailments. For example, pituitary for hpta axis out of balance, thyroid for thyroid issues etc... Can anyone shed any light on this?
