A while back it was pointed out that we had a 4.8:1 male:female ratio. I predicted the ratio would balance out over time. I was right. It's now at 2:1, according to forum stats.

That's good news I guess. Although imo it doesn't really matter that different groups are balanced, but any increase in members is good.

I thought women were a little out-numbered, but it's all good. I'm just glad to at least virtually know everyone, cuz I don't think I'll otherwise meet a RAFer in the flesh.

I'm trying to figure out the ratio, myself, but I can't.  Geoff, is there a quick way to do it, other than going through every single member profile?

There's a "group stats" link near the bottom of the board once you've logged in. It still shows the ratio as 2:1 in favour of males. bear in mind, though, that we only forced people to register their gender many months after starting this board so that there are still plenty of unregistered members who are, in fact, female,.
