There have been several threads about drinking water. Write "water" in the ""search" window.

i like bubbly water in glass.  Avoid plastics as they allegedly contain BPA.  Spring water if I travel to a spring some 3 hours away and bring home a few gallons.  Basically try to look for the best water I can find and spend for it.

Granted, but times change, and what answers were given ages ago may now be outdated in this rapidly-changing world of ours.A bit of new blood in the topics is also a good idea.

I did not notice an issue with plastic bottles, myself, but who knows? I am unable to go to local springs and glass spring water bottles are not easy to find.

When I was in the UK,  the tapwater in London  was so bad that I found it killed off my appetite completely once I went fully rawpalaeo. I duly found various 5-litre plastic bottles of spring water. I found that the more natural ones, with an alkaline PH value of 7.8 to 8.4 were the best as regards taste etc. The best was a Brecon Beacons 5 litre bottle, which was so good that I found myself drinking a full bottle over 36 hours or so, sometimes. Surprisingly, I never got hyponatremia, as a result. Now, in Austria, I find the tapwater, which comes from the mountains, is fine re taste and, anyway, most local spring water bottles  are too neutral or acidic.

Do NOT ever drink distilled water. I used to buy some distilled water from Planet Organic in the UK, and I found to my horror that it never quenched my thirst. Very dangerous stuff that leaches nutrients from your body etc.

I agree, distilled water makes batteries happy, not people!

Relying on raw dairy, raw veggie juice and the like is no real substitute!!!

I drink reverse osmosis water. Got a nice set up from ebay for around 125 dollars and installed it myself under my kitchen sink. I get my minerals form sea salt, diet and supplements.

Not sure what to tell ya. I've not drank water for ~3 months now. I'm perfectly satisfied with raw milk, tomatoes and on occasions, blood. Like cooked food, it seems that taking a break from it revealed to me that I don't really want it.

Hmmm.  I have so many different opinion on distilled water.. some say its the only pure water and the only water you should ever drink.
Some see it is terrible and leaches minerals out of the body, etc...

when you drank distilled did you purchase it in glass bottles?

I think so, it was years ago.

Im addicted to quality water. There are a lot of springs around me, and I fill up 5 gallon glass jugs and will drink about 3 liters a day.

I made a trip to the beach a couple of months ago and collected ocean water, which on occasion Ive been mixing around one part per ten with spring water. I believe it helps balance electrolytes, especially in the summer when I sweat a lot and am low on fresh blood. It seems to be working to alleviate cramping and dehydration after my daily overexertion's.

Instead of using concentrated sea salt for added minerals, I wonder if anyone else has experimented with adding a splash of sea water into their drinking water?

I brush my teeth with sea water every evenings and mornings and I drink a bit of it sometimes — when I like its salty taste. I also wash the fish in seawater before cutting it and eating it.

Brushing teeth with sea water... GREAT IDEA!  Thank you.
Stored sea water is okay for this?
How long does sea water keep?

Ive kept it in 5 gallon glass jugs for the last two months, in a cabinet and it seems just fine....I think as long as you keep it away from light so algae wont grow and in a glass container that wont leech out chemicals, then it would be fine to keep for long periods of time.
