Hi;

I just started eating grass-fed raw liver, meat, yogurt (that I make in home from ram milk) and eggs, coming from zero car all cooked meat diet, but I started to get diarrhea and farting a lot and it is smelly, this is my 4 day, why is that?

I buy very high quality meat, it is from high quality source, all the products are humanly treated animals, hormones free, pesticides free, grass-fed, free ranging and the whole nine yard, just let me tell you this, I bout the liver and froze it and I just put the liver in the fridge the day before to thaw out and then eat it the next day.

So what is happening? why is that?

I was just going to post about this. I have been doing it for roughly the same amount of time. I started out with soft stool with some gas, but have now moved on to no gas and chronic diarrhea with some cramping right before I need to go. My diarrhea seems to be getting worse not better. No blood, no nausea, just chronic diarrhea. I here the adaptation phase can take a few weeks, but if I have diarrhea this bad for much longer i'm not going to make it! Was wondering if I need to ease into this by having some cooked broccoli to help bind things up a bit or just ride it out. The diarrhea is so bad I am worried about malnutrition.

Well, I just took a very warm bath and soaked for a good while. Things I noticed was that the water got a little cloudy and the sweat coming from my upper lip had a bit of a fungal hint to it. In my case it may just be extreme detoxing.

Well, no idea if my past experience is applicable, but, after c.2 years of going RVAF, I would spend every 2nd alternate week consuming only raw, grassfed ox liver and water. I duly found that I would get liquid diarrhea soon afterwards, of a sort, after some weeks of doing such. I still do if I overdo the raw liver consumption. Same goes if I overeat raw eggs or if I have raw veggie-juice or raw suet(however grassfed). My take on this is not that I had diarrhea per se, but that my body was already so overdosed on the nutrients from specific foods (or that my body refused to  properly absorb the nutrients from a specific food due to not liking it) that the food would swiftly go out the other end, mostly unabsorbed.

This is worthy of looking into... I have been eating 3 raw eggs in the morning and then a massive meal at night of raw red meat of around 1kg. Mind you I am a 205Lb mostly muscle guy, but maybe the raw meat just doesn't absorb as well? I had no problem with 1kg cooked. I thought it was the other way around?

You talk about fungus coming from your upper lip, maybe your body is getting rid of candida? I can't imagine 1kg of raw red meat would not cause a big detox for candida sufferers.

For OP, maybe try not eating the yoghurt or dairy products. Some people don't react well to it.

ok so please let's all research it and ask around, to see what is the cause, I feel very good on all aspects but the diarrhea is the only con in the whole thing.

The farting and diarrhea stopped...  I think my body had a transitioning period... I don't know but now everything seems fine
