strange symptoms when starting out

Hello,

After suffering from various digestive problems (starting with acid reflux to leaky gut & constipation which I'm still healing from) over the last 10 years of my life; I've tried a few common diets such as vegetarian, vegan and omnivore. It's been 3 days since I started eating raw meat (after about a week of watching Sv3rige and AV's videos) and I'm experiencing strange symptoms. I should mention that I live in Norway and its very hard (and expensive) to find grass-fed meats. Over the last 3 days, I've had some rib-eye steak (100 grams approx), some tartar (100 grams ground meat) and sirloin steak (80-90 g).

Symptoms:

1) Slight bloating after eating raw meat - lasts almost 3 hours after eating

2) random itch all over the body with episodes of creepy / crawly sensations

3) slight chills every now and then

4) fatigue / drowsy feeling especially after eating raw meat

Are these just detox symptoms?

I've stopped using my probiotics (Naturewise - Time release probiotic) since this morning, but I haven't felt any different

I've also noticed that I'm peeing noticeably more than usual, especially in the morning upon waking. Still bloated from last night's dinner also. Did anyone else go through something similar?

If ur still bloated it can mean that your body didn´t digest the food correctly. That can be because you don´t have enough gastric acid, which can happen if you come from a vegetarian/vegan diet, or it can also be that certain foods interact with raw meats. So if u eat raw meats I would eat them alone, just with salt and maybe pepper, no other things added to it (like garlic, herbs...)  Furthermore certain things like probiotics or digestive enzyme tablets can cause maldigestion and constipation. I believe that´s because of the additives in it. I´d rather go for homemade raw kefir if u want probiotics combined with digestive enzymes.  Usually takes 2-3 days to get back to normal digestion if the pills were causing these issues. Very often the "natural" pills that suppose to help you can do u harm. However, some of your symptoms can also be a sign of detox. I would also not freak out about grass fed expensive cuts. Organic ground beef would do the same, is softer and easier to digest. There are other cuts with are full of fat and also not as expensive as ribeye. Things like beef brisket, certain beef rib cuts, cube roll and so forth. This image gives you a good idea what fatty cuts are http://i.imgur.com/hXLH5qB.jpg And if u don´t eat enough fats (like half the amount of protein and often more), you can get constipation. I´d first eat more fats until you get diarreah, then cut down slowly until you a) don´t have too loose stools anymore and b) are no longer constipated. So find ur middle way. For that test I´d recommend to stay close to the toilet though  ;D

First few times I ate raw meat I had diarhea.. and same was with raw eggas.


After those few times it stopped and I could eat 2 to 4 pound of raw meat and feel very good also sleep very strong roaring feeling warm heartbeat fantastic
