Good experiences with raw grainfed org chicken
« on: August 19, 2018, 05:52:33 am »
I have been having raw grain fed probably 20% pastured chickens lately and ate the equivalent of about 2 chickens by now.  I saw sv3rige eat some in a video that was grain fed and asked him who told me that it is basically ok if organic.

So far I have been having excellent experiences with it and instantly digest it very well.
I also get a great energy boost and high from it even stronger than that of beef high meat.
I do not eat the organs or marrow.
It is probably good to note that although the chickens are fed crap they are from local equivalent of amish farmers in Canada and raised without any injections or chemicals of any kind.
I have been intensely craving raw chicken instead of red meat for quite some time and only got close to the texture from lamb lungs which is about the closest thing to chicken in terms of red meat I have had.

I have yet to try that organic chicken that Sv3rige was eating in the Netherlands. Guess it's still a psychological thing.

Why not make a real journal? Right now you are posting every experience in a serperate post.

I'm always so surprised when people eat chicken.  80 percent of their diet ( in most cases including barnyard raised ) is cracked rancid grain, most often monsanto, corn and soy.   Most here would never consider eating cows fed from birth eating 80 percent grain.    Just something to consider when making choices.  When you think about how those raised on corn fed beef prefer it, makes you wonder if some like that 'corn' flavor in chicken.

Occasional grain fed chicken may not cause any immediate issues, but you may not want to make it a staple food....Also if you are craving fowl then it may be a good idea to branch out and try different sources. Wild Goose can be delicious, to me its much better than chicken, there is also guinea fowl, pheasant, wild turkey, ducks and numbers of other wild birds that do well without being fed grain based diets.

Several RPDers here have stated that  chickens fed on raw diets taste way better when fed with raw animal food(ie raw carrion, raw insects, raw worms etc.) than when given raw plant foods  only. This more accurately reflects the daily diet of the chickens' ancestor, the jungle fowl.

I always found the taste of raw grainfed chicken to taste disgusting in the UK. Raw chicken is slightly better in Austria, as they pride themselves on avoiding additives/hormones to a large extent, there. Yet, they still boast of feeding their fowl organic soy!!   l)

I have tried raw grassfed goose, which was nothing special. Raw wild mallard duck, though, was one of the best tasting meats I have ever tried.

Raw wild goose and mallard duck sound delicious... Good ideas for my first hunting trip.
