Mucus & phlegm?
« on: August 18, 2009, 12:02:56 pm »
Hi guys - I need to know what it means when the body produces phlegm (clear & green) after eating certain types of foods -

I've been eating whole raw organic eggs alot lately & find that I get some energy from it, followed immediately by phlegm building up in my throat & nose, then feeling a bit so-so

What does this mean?

I used to have the exact reaction when I used to consume dairy (raw milk) - is this my body's way of telling me that raw eggs or eggs in general are not for me?

Any helpful advice/ suggestions much appreciated      SAV

Mucus = phlegm
A true raw paleo diet is a mucusless diet.
You already know the answer, your eggs are bad, or you are allergic to eggs (chicken?)
My 2nd son allergic to all chicken whether organic, home grown, cooked or raw, whether eggs or meat... allergic as long as it is chicken.  But with duck no problem.  The blood type diet showed that type B people are allergic to any chicken.  Even if you are of a different blood type, it doesn't matter, your body does not agree with those eggs.  Drop them, change them, get something else.

  If the chickens are eating grains, than you can look there.  Also mixing eggs with fruits, as many do,  can cause similar effects.
