The 105 figure is Pravda propaganda, but it is interesting that Cuba's life expectancy is slightly higher than the USA's (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy) -- 78.3 vs. 78.2 -- likely within the error margin, but it's amazing that Cuba manages to match the USA's life expectancy given Cuba's poverty. I think part of the reason is that they don't have new, highly processed and artificial foods coming out every year. They are still eating fairly traditional, low-processed foods, as compared to wealthier nations.
