Centered text?
« on: July 25, 2008, 08:23:22 pm »
Hi, I don't know if this was a forum change or if it's just the computer that I'm using... but as of today, everything on the forum is centered?

I, for one, don't like it very much. Just my opinion  :)

I agree, I don't like the centered look much, either.

In my experience as a web developer, it is best not to change things on users once the site is well established.  An entire redesign may be an exception, but people get used to certain placements of links and such.

I appreciate the attempts at improvement, but that large link to rawpaleo.com should go at the bottom of the page.  I have gotten used to the go up button and a slight scroll to the tabbed navigation, and now I have to scroll further (WwaaaahH!).  Truly, offsite links should probably all go at the bottom of pages.

My $0.02, and my thanks to a great, caring, thoughtful administrator!

No, just about 3x bigger than the other nearby text.  I am at 1600 x 1200 resolution, so things look smaller for me than they do for people with a smaller screen resolution.

It's your call ultimately.  You have absolute power.

Ha ha.  ;D  Well it's smaller and on the bottom now but not very noticeable in my opinion.  :-[

I didn't really care about the placement of the link, it was the centered text throughout the entire forum that bothered me. But hey, if you killed two birds with one stone, that's great!

OH! I had no idea that effected the whole forum! Now that think about it, I think I thought I was using the end center tag
Code: [Select]
<center/> when it should have been
Code: [Select]
</center> Oh well, you live you learn! Not properly ending the center would have done that. Sorry.
