5 months of raw and doing good
« on: June 26, 2010, 05:47:48 pm »
I haven't posted much, but have been following the forrum for 5 months

I was chronic fatigued with liver congestion and blood sugar/metabolic issues, and constant viral illness

I have been eating very low carb- raw animal foods , with high meat for about 6 months.

Its been truly a blessing to find a way of eating that is true to my nature, I feel like I have been missing

this my whole life.

In the past  few months I have gained 20 pounds of good lean weight, were as before I could hardly eat

enough to maintain my bones: without sugar spikes, abdominal pain, and nausea.

Now my body regulates it self to the point were I eat a meal of meat and fat, and feel truly full and

satisfied.  After a couple of months on raw meat my blood sugar leveled of to in between 80 to 95, when

before it would always spike after a meal to 130 to 140 sometimes higher and make me feel horrible.

I believe I had adrenal burnout, because after a mono infection 5 years ago, I was stricken with months

of fatigue, my adrenals would actually be burning with pain along with my liver and pancreas. my

lymphnodes would swell for weeks at a time. My muscles would burn with pain and my tendons would

tighten up () during flare ups.

This last winter I was ill with viral meningitis, hand foot and mouth, swine flu: within a three month span.

So you see it was only out of desperation that I started to eat raw flesh after finding AV and reading

about the guts and grease diet of the native Americans.

I am greatfull to say that feel I am on the right road to recovery now and I feel better than I can ever

remember feeling, My libido is back to capacity ( testosterone boost)even have thicker chest hair

As of now I have been maintaining myself on     Pasture raised black Angus
lamb and or beef fat trimmings
                                                                  bone marrow
                                                                   raw coconut butter(main carbohydrate)very yummy
                                                           also
                                                                 high meat
                                                                  oysters
                                                                   organ meat(liver, kidney, spleen, heart)
                                                                    egg yokes(back yard chickens)

I have tried some fruit but think I do better without , my sugar doesn't go high any more , but sometimes if I eat some berries my sugar will drop to about 70 after a couple of hours , insulin response?

Well that's it for now

Did you eat high meat right from the start?

If you added it later, did you notice benefits?

GS: do you eat high meat?

I am 27 years old ( hopfully young enough to rebuild my self from the inside out)

I worked as an electrician when I first got sick , I convinced myself that it was a result of some type of occupational poisoning (PCB, aluminum, radon gas, electric fields, etc. My Diet was also fairly poor which may of prevented healthy elimination. I had a hair analysis done, my aluminum was off the chart, manganese, nickel and cadmium was high as well. My selenium , magnesium, and trace minerals were low

Started making high meat about 2 months in to the diet, and have been eatting ripe high meat (lamb, beef, goose) for about three months .

I had issues with depression (neurological issues). It was all part of a condition(diagnosed chronic fatigue
I went to the health department for three years and all they could do is prescribe anti depressants, which i refused to take(mind poison). My white blood counts were always slightly low, I would go in with swollen lymphnodes, elevated liver enzymes , and blood sugar, and high Epstein Barr titers, skin rashes , and there was nothing they could even suggest for me to do, so I resigned my self to suffer and haven't been to the doctor for two years. I went to the Er when I had meningitis, and even though I had a infection of some kind my white counts were slightly low(some immune issue).

I had food sensitivity's, sometimes wheat or other starchy foods would make me feel disoriented, and vegtables would pass completely undigested. Every time I ate I would have to deal with a sharp pain in my upper left side. I also had trouble with greasy foods, if I ate anything with vegtable grease, Id get sick, often the oil would pass undigested as well

Before I tried This diet I tried liver flushes and got tons of stones, but it offered only slight relief. I went on a low fat diet high in cooked vegtables with a little cooked meat ,but by that time I was so malnourished()145 pounds 6 foot tall, pre diabetic; nothing helped.

I believe that the large amounts of raw animal fat and protein I began to eat 6 months ago, was what I needed all along to clean and rejuvenate my toxic and depleted body. The high meat seemed to jump start my immune system and boost my moods,  so that I no longer consider myself depressed. I eat a small piece in the morning with some fat and fresh meat. I call it my medicine.

At first I was ravenously eating about 2.5 pounds of beef, half pound of fat, and one third jar of raw coconut butter a day. It seemed it was hard for me to tell when I was full, Now my appetite is more moderate, but at 175 I feel I have reached an optimal size, and I fell completely satisfied after eating.

Hello sabertooth, what is high meat and how do you get it? Why do you prefer it to regular raw meat?

Rarely.

This lunch time I had tuna that was left over open in the fridge for 2+ weeks.
Smelled slimy high enough.

Been a while since I made an Aajonus style high meat.

High meat is not a food by it self. Its aged putrefied meat full of flesh eating organisms.

It is more like supplemental source of biologically active organisms and chemical compounds that stimulate health, rejuvenation, and wellbeing. I think it also primes the gut for optimal digestion of fresh raw meat.

It has psychoactive properties that seem to boost serotonin secretion and production, in a way far Superior to any drug contrived by man.(Just opinion based on personal experience)

I have been making it the av way in mason Jars I keep in my water cooler fridge{slightly warmer than home fridge).

I am still trying to master the art of good high meat, looking for balance of potency and taste.

wow!, and good for you to jump into high meat.. I'm still working on it.  Look forward to reading more of your experiences!!

Does coconut butter = coconut oil?  I think they are different since you put carbs in () ?

How old is (typically) the high meat that you eat?

Putrefy to me means: decomposition, sometimes I use an exaggerated term when a more prudent one would suffice.

Coconut butter is pure bliss when used as a dipping sauce for raw meat. It is on a completely different level of goodness when compaired to plain oil. It is like coconut oil, cream and flesh whipped together into a rich and velvety treat.  It contains about 7 carbs per serving and I eat about 4 servings a day so that's about 21 carbs{my main source of carbohydrate as of now)

My metabolism seems to do well with The low carb approach.(because of past issues with sugar spikes)

Those issues seem to be resolved, so now if I eat carbs it seems to trigger borderline low sugar

My experience with high meat has been positive
I am a little worried that I allowed it to get too strong after my fridge quit working for a few days and my lamb turned very liquid, I at the normal dose anyway and went into a very high state,  I cut the dose in half the next round and seemed to find equanimity.

I still wonder is there a limit to how long I should let the meat age before replacing it with a newer batch,my average age now is about two months aged AV style

you keep your meat in a fridge though right?  I like this idea because the house won't smell.  This is the most motivated I've been to try making some... hmmmm.

Okay, I get what you meant by coconut better. I've made my own a few times, and I love it!  I don't think it works for me though unfortunately.

I was keeping my High meat in a mini fridge that was part of my water cooler, so I could keep it out of the main fridge ;but it broke just recently{because my kids kept playing in it and left the door open }  I am in the market for an other.

It was the perfect place for making high meat, it could fit about 10 mason. I had it sitting by the back porch so I could air out the jars out the back of the house.

I have tried to preach the Gospel of raw and rotten to all who will listen, I have shone the high meat to my parents and eaten it in front of them to prove to them I wont die of food poisoning, everyone can see how much better I am, My granny praises me all the way, but I still get negative feedback like {you don't feed that to you kids do you?}from most others. Its sad because most members of my family also have health problems that I know could be resolved by this type of diet.

I feel obligated to lie about the kids diet, though I have started giving my 2 year old raw egg with raw milk {for what my great grand mother called egg nog}: she also loves bone marrow, a little red meat, oysters etc. I can collect an egg from our chickens and crack the top open and let her drink it for a refreshing snack.

I can tell you all that my children are thriving and are about the healthiest and brightest I have known , while on the other hand almost every child born into my family is stricken with some type of ailmen or condition{no exaggeration}

My brother has epilepsy my sister lost her hair at 2 and is mentally slow even though we have an intelligent blood line, I had pneumonia at six months, major ear infections, tubes impanted, asthma allergy's, my uncle Scott got the first round of dpt,and was never right after that{autism}.My wife has diabetes, my cousin got seizures after chicken pox shot, my other cousin had twitchin, migraines, numbness.I have a cousin that was born with a shriveled thyroid. The list could go on but I must digress.

What is most disturbing is that I am aware enough to recognize whats going on, I come from an intelligent blood line My father had a Masters in biology by the time he was 21. I have independently studied reality outside of the box, and have noticed a definite decline in intelligence and physical ability of the younger generation. Whether or not Its because its the of the generational accumulation of toxic environmental waste, poor diet food quality, or the deliberate culling of the population through vaccines and dangerous pesticides fertilizers, corn syrup, gmos, etc:is up for debate.

Whatever is going on, it is up to me to repair the damage and protect my children and make others aware of the ignorance that is poison.

Exactly... and thats how I feel as well. I feel that someone has to do something about it, maybe both of us can somehow change the world. I want to have my own nutritional practice and work with cancer patients with this diet. I also want to write nutrition and philosophy books. I have no doubt that what you say is true about degeneration of todays society. 20 year olds cant even "get it up". I think the biggest problem in the future will be infirtility IMO.

You're a wise man Sabertooth. If i ever have children, i will not tell people i feed them raw meat. People are so bacteria-phobic here, they'd call Child Protective Services. Telling people about this diet is never a good idea. I'm surprised sushi is even legal in Canada. What's ridiculous is that everyone will agree that sushi and sashimi is super healthy but if you mention eating raw meat, they think you're poisoning yourself. Completely illogical.
