True, just cause they were Paleolithic people doesn't mean they did everything right, I mean they weren't dietary gurus or anything, most of them were not extremely intelligent either, they probably wanted to see "how can we eat this gruesome unedible grain thingies? lets crush them and fire it up!"

"The findings may also upset fans of the Paleolithic diet, which follows earlier research that assumes early humans ate a meat-centered diet."I don't think it should upset anyone, most modern-Paleo people say "if it HAS to be cooked to eat then don't eat it"....they don't say "eat and do everything the exact same way the cavemen did it" do they? When nature designed man it didn't know or prdict he was gonna make grain pancakes, it just designed him to eat from the land around him. Modern-Paleo people should eat like nature meant for them to eat, which doesn't include grain pancakes.
I bet cavemen did some other things we may not consider doing heh heh
