Whole Sardines

Do you eat the innards? For those who tried raw sardines. The meat and skin and eyeballs are great. I didn't eat the innards though.

Ah I see.
I ate canned sradines whole.
But the bones on raw seem an issue. How do the innards taste?

Raw sardines taste very similar to cooked canned sardines.
I was surprised to find that out.

I don't like fish innards much especially not the raw liver. I prefer eating raw shellfish whole instead.

I realize that innards are not pleasant especially if the fish is old (refrigerated). I can imagine the fresh fish right after fishing (to eat the whole fish).
