Excessive Belching
« on: November 23, 2010, 05:15:40 am »
Hi, I'm new here. I started RPD about 2 months ago. Previously I was on cooked LC. About 3 months ago I noticed big problem with my digestive. To be honest I had problems with that earlier, when I was on SAD. I had bloating, belching etc. Then it seemed normal to me. I was very not educated about healthy and diet. But now, though I'm on RPD, my problems doesn't disappear.

My all symptoms:
- acne - it disappear on RPD :)
- always cold hands and feets - doctors say it is Raynaud's phenomenon, but I'm not sure.
- belching (excessive after meal, especially meat, but when I was fasting for 3 days it doesn't go away)
- bloating
- acid taste in mouth
- feeling full soon after even a little meal

I have a lot of amalgam fillings. I know it can cause all of this symptoms. I am appointed for the visit with dentist and soon my amalgams will go away :) Unfortunately I'm not sure about causes of my problems. It could be amalgams but it could be something else. I don't know. Do you think my problems go away when I replace amalgams? It is realy hard to check out, because mercury detox takes a long time.

Some about my current diet:
I eat 2-3 meals per day. 1-2 meals with fat and meat and 1 with fruits and vegetables. I eat the best food I can get. Game meat, mutton, some offal, animal fat, game fish. Fruits are from a local market.

What is your opinion about it? What can I do to improve my digestive? Do you think high meat can help in this case? I'm thinking about HCL suplement. But I it is unavailable in Poland and to buy it I would have to bring it from US. This is very expensive.

I'm sorry for my poor english. I'm still beginner in this language. I hope to learn it here :)

I presume you have talked already with Hannibal, our main Polish poster on rawpaleoforum and moderator?

OK, so far your diet seems fine. Do make sure that the raw meats you get are grassfed not grainfed, other than the raw wild game, of course.

High-meat does usually help with one's digestion due to all the extra bacteria. You might as well try it. Start with marble-sized amounts and move up to larger amounts over time.

Yes, we have talked on the Polish low-carb forum.
But I haven't yet come to the definitive conclusion about his problems.

I started the same topic on polish forum, www.dobradieta.pl/forum , but i decided to ask here. Maybe someone here had similar problems or know how to help me :).

How old should be high meat for the beginner like me? 3 weeks will be enough?

Pity you can't use the HCL supplements. They really do work. Perhaps try importing from another country?

Otherwise the most natural way would be high meat I guess. Some other members have noted it greatly improving their digestion. I've only tried it once but will be trying it again shortly. A few more days until it's been going for a month.

Some vinegar could be helpful.

3 weeks works for me, but perhaps 4 weeks is better. That is what Aajonus recommends.

Removing all amalgams is really, really a good idea.
You must have a biological dentist do it.
I had mercury poisoning due to my amalgams and I'm glad they are all out.
I also had 1 root canaled tooth and I removed that too.

The entire family also worked on removing all their amalgams.
Remember to let the biological dentist do it.

No, I didn't yet. Where can I found some info about it? Does it really work?

Unfortunately I couldn't found any biological dentist in my city. But I found the dentist, who agreed to remove my amalgams according to the protocol. She can provide me all except an alternative air source. What is your opinion about it?
