grain fed ground beef
« on: February 25, 2011, 12:32:43 pm »
ok can i eat grain fed minced meat raw? like the higher fat ones you would find in the supermarket?
i've been eating slankers minced meat for a few weeks but i'm going to be relocating and i don't have much cash. What's the worse that could happen, a stomach ache? I can take pain and i trust my immune system to adapt and rid me of any undesirables

Theres no way you can get grass fed? Theres a reason other than cooking that studies found meat causes cancer, IMO its because its grain-fed SAD beef.

Go to the website Eatwild.com. They have links to grassfed producers in your area and/or stores that sell. I drive a hour once a month and stock up. The Amish types do this but don't advertise. Keep asking around for connections.

NEVER eat grain-fed supermarket-meat!

Everything could happen.

In my case I got severe inflammation of the GI tract, extreme aggressions, depression etc.

So I have to fess up. A recent lack of diligence in the WFoods led me to taking home grainfed chuck roast.
I ate a few pounds of it. When i went back to the store, I realized what I had done.

Other than the fact that it did not taste as good, and was not as tough as my regular beef.
NO ill effects. It did not bother me at all

I would not do it on a regular basis though, naturally
