« on: June 13, 2011, 03:31:12 am »
Anyone know of a safe liver supplement?
I found "Ultra Glandulars Raw Liver Concentrate."
All you can suggest as good glandular products would be so helpful  :)

Thank You!!

Try to get a hold of the whole animal if you can.

I just eat about a pound of raw grass fed liver every week or so.

I got a half of a calf along with the head. The brain and spinal cord gave me some noticable benifets. I also ate all the lympatic tissue.

Anyone have opinions about lymph nodes?

I do have liver at the house, still can't down it  -\
Yuck factor for me.
I saw "Dr. Ron's" products mentioned on another thread so i may look into that.

take a large bite of butter so it coats your mound than just swallow small pieces. I used to do that but after a few weeks I developed a real flavour for liver.

I include a small amount of liver with my other meats. That is the only way I can eat it.

An Ayurvedic supplement for Liver issues is: Livomap
http://www.ayurvedabay.com/search.html

This is very high quality. I have never ordered from this site before.

However why do you ask?

I was cooked vegan (including dairy) for 23 years and had no real health issues. However I did have chronic liver weakness which showed up with pulse diagnosis with my Ayurvedic Doctor (vaidya)

1.5 years after I started the primal diet I asked a Chinese medicine doctor about that. He said that is typical for veges as they have a chronic lack of iron and B12.
Cheers
Al

You can try allergy research glandular supplements. I know they're new zealand grass fed.
